Japan's idea of breakfast knocks Western breakfasts out of the park. So many wonderful little dishes for variety, and not a sickly sweet danish or muffin to be seen.
Japanese toast is so thick. Looks very airy. At 12:46 hes having Almond Jello which i love to have with fruit cocktail. So, so good!!

I have family in Japan whom I have never met. My grandmother is 95 and fortunately lives only 20 miles from me here in Florida. I relish the opportunity to visit Japan and learn more about my culture. Maybe one day when I can afford it!

"toast" refers to the style of bread in some countries outside of north america! specifically; toast bread! its shortened to toast. like in germany, "toast bread" is that bouncy, sugary white bread like wonderbread. and then "bread" refers to what ppl in the states refer to as artisenal loaves. the same culture is prevalent in japan in some areas ^^
