To clarify Nana Shimura’s relationship with Shigaraki: She was his Grandmother, she left Shigaraki’s father when the father was a kid. She died before the father grew up and married and had Shigaraki
Idk why people hated Season 5, I liked it.
Ps: makes sense why many people thought Nana Shimura was Shigaraki's mom, they hated Season 5 so much that they instantly decided to forget what happened.
@@Baised-_-Rin Tbh the way they switched arcs made me hate season 5. Well not really hate, but I didn't like it, because of how the change of events up to the 'final episode' of season 5 (the set up episode for season 6) kinda got the hype ruined.

Machia isn't mindless, he just genuinely thought it'd be faster to run in a straight line to Shigaraki and ignore the heroes entirely, but now sees that they can slow him down enough that it's worth just taking the time to put them all in the dirt
- The anime cut out a scene where Shigiraki threw a 2nd bullet at Endeavor but was destroyed by Bakugo, hence why he wasn't doing anything to try and stop the other one.
- The 100% smash also did much more damage to Shigiraki lower jaw in the manga
- Machia has 7 quirks total: Endurance (his original which let him withstand the quirks), Pain Blocker, Gigantifaction, Dog, Energy Saver, Fierce Gains and Mole. This info was never actually stated in the series but on a bonus chapter on the manga volume

I think that's because of One piece and hxh, like c'mon, he watched 200+ episodes of Op, and 118 oh HxH. Thanks to them he slowly forgetting every other anime, because he's more concentrated on Op and Hxh. 🥲

@@Baised-_-Rin they hated it not because of the content but because it was horribly adapted, wack animation and horrible pacing, also they cut things from the MVA arc and change dialogues for censorship, really bad way to treat a series

Fun fact: There's a continuity error with Himiko in this episode. Cause in the previous episode, she was naked and she had lost her clothes, which is why Compress gave her a new one (A white short-sleeved sailor uniform) but here she's suddenly wearing her old outfit again xD
I think there's definitely some dramatic irony that the guy who Erases people's quirks is now in danger of losing his own quirk.
But also, can we talk about Compress coming in with the clutch assists lately? Man has been going crazy with the support
This episode was Shigaraki going Plus Ultra. We saw a lot of heroes going beyond their limits in this arc. Mirko, Hawks, Endeavor, and many others. But this is Shigaraki's moment to push past his body's limits and go beyond. Even as the damage accumulates without his quirk, he remembers his dream. He remembers why he's fighting. He remembers his origin. And that's all the motivation he needs.
Because no one was there to save him, hero or civilian, because no one reached out to him, he became who he is today. He was taken in by the worst man imaginable. And now he will reach his own hand out to the world and decay it down to the roots. Until the whole system that's full of rot and maggots has been crumbled to dust.
