Maren Frink Floral foam is hard and feels a lot like sandpaper. Crushing it hurts and you have to put your aggression into it to make it crush completely.

I like dry because I feel like most microphones are able to get the sound. With wet foam you have to have a bit of a more sensitive microphone to pick up the sound.
