One thing I've noted from MILs who behave like this is that, 1. They are jealous that the DIL is happy and she the MIL didn't get or doesn't have a man to make her happy. Usually, such MILs are single mothers who solely raised their sons or they're in unhappy marriages. 2. The MIL energy and DIL energy do not match. One is dark energy the other is light energy. 3. The MIL is sexually starving. 4. The DIL is not a human doormat to the MIL. I, for one, do not entertain relatives coming to live with us in our matrimonial home.
