Very interesting, being Catholic, as school children taught by nuns we were taken to many historic places of interest. I was taught in Caverswall Castle, in the stables for at least a full year, breakfast in the castle dini g Room for my Communion, carried the queens crown at the summer fate on castle grounds. When I was 11(1960) I did a project on Samlesbury Hall as someone had reported seeing a ghost outside the hall. The local press took on the story and found it incorrect.Hence my project was very short.
