One of my favorite games ever. Discovered it recently and I'm already at 100 hours on steam! My sole point of critique is the automatic surrendering system, makes a last stand impossible. 9/10! Love it!
The defender would only surender if all the points in that phase has been taken while they are in the middle of it, so doing last stand is no problem.

Yeah I hate that too. I just finished the last battle of Stalingrad tonight on the side of the Germans and after the first point was taken, my character surrendered 1 second before I was about to destroy an enemy tank… 🤦🏻

Finally someone made the game of my dreams, authentic large scale battles with no bs transactions and full offline support. This is a holdout of classic, player first design. Thank you.

I love WW2 games from HLL to enlisted but there is something about this $8 gem that is super fun to play! It reminds me of the old WW2 Cod games and the Medal of Honors
Just pick this game up yesterday to try it out for the first time I can't tell you the last time I stayed up till 4:00 in the morning playing a video game just like Skyrim when I was a little kid. This is one of the most detailed and accurate world war II shooters I have ever seen and it just so happens to be some of the most fun I've ever had in a video game. Reminding me of battlefield 1942 in call of duty 2 combined. The amount of missions is insane to right after playing my first match I bought all the DLC
Say it louder for the ones in the back bro this 8$ game freaking blew me away lol I’m a huge hell let loose fan and this is the exact same vibe with a SINGLE PLAYER AND MAP AND MISSION CREATOR WHATTTTTTTTTTTTT
I spent 600 hours (and counting) on this game, I don't regret it at all, I've seen its evolution almost since launch and the developer welcomes suggestions from the community, if you don't have the game, buy it, it's worth it

I have it on Xbox, maybe only about 100 hours or so. But the night I bought the game I played maybe 10-15 minutes of it and loved it, lol I didn’t even finish my match I closed out the game and bought all the dlc and downloaded it. Since then I’ve had a freaking blast! This game is freaking awesome. I’m glad I picked it up. Currently updating it now as we speak

This game has developed so much over the past few years. I love it.
Discovered it a few days ago on Xbox! I saw the price and decided to give it a shot. I’ve already told my friends and family to go buy it or use their Microsoft Rewards! Offline mode, custom games, a map editor, and reasonably priced expansions! It truly is a love letter to the late 1990s-early 2010 games like Battlefield 1942, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty 1-3 ect. This is how those franchises should have evolved! It’s more of a platform even than a game. I hope this is successful and has a healthy life.

This is clearly low budget but it doesn't look bad and seems to have a lot of content, like a surprising amount... might pick this up! Very happy this appeared in my recommended.
Once I got this game on console, I had to overcome my original doubts. Turns out I love this game, it reminds me of the Brothers in Arms games

Easy Red 2 Switch Port Review (as of Feb. 26, 2024):
Gameplay: In Depth inventory/squad commands, guns feel uniquely weighted and feel great even on the small joycons, maps are large and diverse, destructive environments and vehicles immerse the player. Single player is by far my favorite way to experience this game

Performance: Overall manages to keep a consistent 30 when in small to midrange gunfights, large-scale warfare sees significant frame drops sometimes into the tens, some maps perform better than others, aiming with a scope sometimes drops the frames by half when pointed towards a large group of enemies. Performance mode doesn’t foresee noticeable fps improvements and in some cases results in more frame-drops, however when the game does keep a consistent performance, it is a beautiful site to behold
6.5/10
Variety: Well over 60 individual weapons across multiple classes, dozens of vehicles including tanks and planes, environmental weapons such as anti-air are present and special weapons such as flamethrowers make the experience much more gritty. Reload animations are AAA worthy. An 8 dollar game with more weapon and class options than most $60 AAA games

Graphical fidelity: Textures are noticeable in resolution and pop-in is especially noticeable when flying an airplane, however the atmosphere of the game makes up for it, beautiful and large open fields, small alleyways for CQB, amazing variety in maps, immersive environmental effects, pre-fight intros

Audio: Voices can sound muffled/repeat too often and the tutorial voices are too quiet, however gun sounds, environmental audio, and voices within the battlefield immerse the player. Screams from being burned alive by a flamethrower to the infamous “whistling death” noise from the P-51 mustang

Both the quality, the music, and the weapons show me that the dev team are genuinely updating for the playerbase, and are happy to listen to the playerbase's opinions and suggestions.Although I know the dev team is busy, but I still pray that the production team can put the Chinese battlegrounds into the update path, this is also the hope of every Chinese player.The China theatre has been an overlooked part of history in many mainstream FPSes, but it was also the most brutal theatre of World War II, with combat units ranging from various Kuomintang warlord armies, communist guerrillas, anti-Japanese guerrillas, to the Chinese Expeditionary Forces (CEF) in South-East Asia, and with a theatre of operations encompassing areas spanning across the North-East and South-East Asia, from 1931 to 1945.We'd also love to see a China Battlefield dlc in this game one day

I love this game please never stop working on this! My friends and my self love this game it’s a nice break from hell let loose. The only things we have had troubles with is the planes losing control on Xbox and no vibration for the controller? Can’t wait to see what comes next

If you remember me I'm that nintendo guy and I did buy the Ardennes and bulge dlc and it's amazing and I'm excited for the Afrikan kore to be used in a campaign now I have every dlc right now there's nothing stopping me from buying this one and I'm a heavy ww2 historian so it's nice having a game like this I would like to talk to you in discord or something but im sure hundreds of people also want to do that but your doing good

Gentlemen! I had never heard of this game before this video randomly popped up for me, the reviews were glowing and they're not wrong! I just threw away £20 betting on Perth Glory, what's another 20. I was not disappointed! Just ended the first mission in the Anzio campaign and from start to finish it was good plain old fun. Charged the beach, smoke everywhere, mg42 rattling. Get into the town and my lads are going through the streets, up stairs, opening windows to shoot out of, we turn a corner and get annihilated by a Pak! Fun AI! I see a German with his hands up! I died a few times and end up being a medic and discover that rescuing wounded enemy makes them POWs and that was it, I swear I've never been more invested in a medic class! Not in Squad, Hell Let Loose or Return to Castle Wolfenstein when I was a kid. It's not super pretty but the gameplay in my one and only round was top notch and what I dreamed of when I downloaded bots for the original Day of Defeat mod back waaaaay back when. Recommended.
I'm just glad the developer cares for all platforms, also very happy that Nintendo Switch version hasn't been left behind and or abandoned. Unfortunately developers of other various games left behind or abandoned their nintendo switch versions(which is unfortunately sad) for whatever reason.

Wasnt too crazy about this game but it grew on me heavy. One of my favorite WW2 shooters and definitely would say its one of the best out there rn. Play it yall. You wont regret it. Considering the price its almost like a steal

Small request as you're still very busy on the Tunisia campaign is if not all ready added is to replace the USA Bayonet for the British Lee Einfield No. 4 with a proper british pig sticker bayonet thanks, ohh and a nit pick of mine is the 3rd person grease gun reload animation not lineing up.

Been on the grind since ER1, it's one of my personal obsessions. The xbox series version works amazing, though I'm sure this isn't the place to say it. But the sliders for allied and axis combatants isn't working in the mission editor with a controller. Just something super minor. Love the game so much though.
Playing this game with screen shake maxed out is a religious experience

This trailer looks so good compared to the older one, I love how well the game has progressed and the success of the Xbox release. Did the buildings in Anzio get reworked to have better destructibility such as the houses in the Ardennes and Normandy? I also love the music by the way, do you think the music of the trailer and past trailers could be added to the game for some future missions or our own custom mission? Keep up the great work guys!

Loving the new update 1.3.6f1 on Xbox no problems whatsoever..love the Marine rework.. the vest and helmet beautiful.. im obsessed with it.. amazing work. playing right now as i write this had to pause to give my input... I hope you guys add mod support for Xbox soon..and cant wait for more.. TPV animations looking good and medics animation awesome .👍🏼😎 Please keep updating this game cant get enough.

1. Ship damage cutting off artillery.
2. New faces more variety.
3. New mission type modes beside attack and defend
4. Fix nintendo switch stutter fps so the game is more playable when you look at the ground the framerate picks up then when you raise back up it dips below playable.
Just some new ideas to add to the game for the open world maps try something with that as a game mode type like being able to sew enemies out the normal catch & defend play style.

Think all this game needs now is some sort of gore mechanic just to give it that extra bit of realism. But overall game is fantastic great work
