1976-Leap Year, Presidential Election, Bicentennial and I was a 21 year old in the United States Marine Corps stationed at Camp LeJeune North Carolina. Great memories love to be 21 yrs old again..Semper Fi
@@emilythompson2776 me too. I live in Charleston, West Virginia and back in 1975-1977, my last 2 years in the Corps, it took 11 hours to drive from Camp LeJeune to West Virginia. I'd leave LeJeune around 1630 (430pm) and arrive home at 330 AM. Long trip just to go home for the weekend.
@@michellebucci3748 if I had to pick one decade to stay in.... it would be the 1970s. It was a great time to be 15 years old through a 24 year old. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant
@@usmc-veteran73-77 The way the country is now the way its being destroyed im glad im the age i am. I dont think many ww11 soldiers would have risk and lost their lives if they knew it would be like this BUT then again they didn’t have a choice. It makes me sick to think all our boys lost /disabled / etc just so we can see the constitution being ignored and spit on. So its ok to be old i would rather be .Thank you for your service
