Each Circuit has their own unique personality, and I'm all for that in platformers.
You know, the more I think about it, the more I realize this game succeeds where Mega Man X kind of fails. I know Sigma's forces are invading the city at the start of MMX, but the more I think about it, we never SEE any humans in actual peril (yes, Maverick Hunter X Day of Sigma Movie does fix this - kinda) and no, I'm not going to count those cars that bypass X. This game's opening with a gaggle of robots running away from city while screaming? (expletive) brilliant! Yes, something THIS/THAT small just does MASSIVE things things for the world-building. And that's the operative word here; this game just handles the world building SO much better. I get maybe that's not a fail comparison but there are so many moments when Gravity Circuit just TELLS us things and it feels more substantial than the MMX series.
I know this will sound very melodramatic, but I can't thank Domesticated Ants enough for making this game. Look, I love Mega Man, but let's be honest; Capcom hasn't done the best job with the most recent games - especially the Mega Man X ones. After playing this I feel I can love a Mega Man-esque game again and not make excuses for all the crappy parts.

the parts of the game where you have to jump into what looks like a bottomless pit to find a secret are bs. other than that this game is pretty great

The devs completely ruined the end of this game with the absurd difficulty spike for the final bosses. Went from a 6/10 game to 4/10
