I am a deacon in about as far away as you can get in the Russian Church apart from Antarctica, in a ROCOR parish with no priest resident for twenty years, in Tasmania. Our Patriarch moves the heart to tears of gratitude for his wisdom, his spiritual insight and his leadership of Orthodoxy in the world. May we all pray for him and beg the Lord to grant our Archpastor Many Years. May all Orthodox Churches listen with their heart to His Holiness and May the errors of the last year be ended.
You are actually pretty close to Moscow’s antipode. It’s about 500+ miles due east of Hobart into the middle of the ocean.
Anyway, We need a Western Orthodox mission in Tasmania because the Novis Ordo hegemony there will not tolerate the Latin Mass. Its is disgusting and I bet you have gotten plenty of ex-Romans who have had a bellyful. You might get more if you had someone there who could offer their preferred Liturgy, however.

Greetings brother Dave , I am an Orthodox deacon in South Africa, under the Alexandrian Patriarchate, I studied with ROCOR and lived and served in Russia for some time, it pains me to see this happen to our Church, and I hope that a solution will be made or otherwise I will have to leave this diocese. Please Pray for us.

Let all those who call themselves Orthodox Christians, seek the face of the Lord during this time of need, as ONE TRULY UNITED BODY! Let us dedicate at least one day (every so often as much as possible), to prayer and fasting, in a spirit of repentance, to beseech the Lord to act in our behalf! To equip us with His Grace because the times of persecution and martyrdom may be quickly approaching. We don't need a physical army, for we wrestle with principalities. Our weapons therefore, must be of a spiritual nature! Let us not loose heart and endure, for our Mighty God has promised to be with us to the end!!!

We need to resolve the ancient Chalcedon question, but, ironically, we are far closer to resolving that on mutually acceptable terms than anything being proposed by Rome. We don’t want to manipulate you into accepting Chalcedon on our terms, as Rome did with those of you who became Uniates, we want to sincerely convince you out of love that the formula works and can be adapted to your liturgy with refined terminology in Aramaic, Arabic , Armenian and Ethiopian.

It’s so hard, when the curse of Babble bites at the heels of our good intentions. In English we have suffered a similar problem with “Logos”, we just have no good word or phrase for It, so we lamely just call it “The Word Of God”; pathetic. Meanwhile languages like Mandarin are blessed with an almost perfect equivalent phrase:
“the Tao Of God”.
I’m betting traditional Ethiopian has a good word for it.
What His Holiness says is true. I am American. I used to live a very godless, secular life, a wicked life. Until one day, I met a very wonderful Russian monk who took me under his wing and showed me the beauty of the Orthodox faith. I began going to church services at the monastery. I did not understand the words because everything was in Russian and Slavonic, but still, I felt like God was guiding me there. Not long after this, he baptised me. Now I am studying in seminary and, God willing, I pray that one day He will make me a priest. The Russian Orthodox church is my new home and if it was not for them sharing their spiritual gifts with me, I don't know where I would be today. They led me to God. Glory to Jesus Christ! Christ is risen!
His Holiness Cyril is a voice crying out in the wilderness... We would do well to really listen to these words so we can appropriately pray and act accordingly. God bless the Orthodox Church.

For English, at least, look up St. John of Kronstadt Press, I believe they have translated the entire Slavonic liturgical collection into English. Holy Transfiguration Monastery has done the same from the Greek. Unfortunately, I can't speak for the Spanish language scene, I'm not sure what's available in Spanish.

I am asking from you my russian brothers to forgive us .I am so sorry for the recognition of the ukrainian church which personally as a greek member of the church I do not recognise.I just want you to know that our Archbishop Jerome did the best he could to save as much time as possible.The pressure from Bartholomew was hard not to mention EU. An Nato representatives constantly visiting. Greece and asking for a "Private meeting" with jerome.I pray that this schism will finaly stop with the power of the headmaster of the Church which is Christ himself.

Im a Christian catholic but I alwayspray for Orthodox church because we share the same believes. Catholic Church and orthodox church are the two strong fundamentals of the Jesus church. Both come from Peter. In the end we will be together defending our faith against the evil..

LUCIFER is the persecutor of the brethrens appears as an ANGEL of LIGHT, he sleeps not, but continually accuses the believers to promote his self images. Stand strong in the profession of your faith, acknowledging that we wrestling not against flesh and blood, but evil forces, spiritual wickedness in authorized positions. Today, one must respect the fact that our weapons of warfare are not carnal nor physical but Spiritual declaring the Word of God to disadvantage every plot. We must admit this is the END TIMES, all that worship and look alike is under this Spiritual ATTACK.
