When I have cut old friends off they get deleted off social media and I block them off my phone permanently. If I run into them I wont speak. But if they come at me trying to reestablish a friendship I will check them ASAP and let em know it ain't gonna happen. You're right about actions over words. I've been around people who are straight up drug addicts, alcoholics, and thrive on manipulation. I've even seen people "Invite" themselves to gatherings nobody wanted them at. Same type of people say the following: "I always try to see the good in everyone" and "I'm independent I don't need anyone".....Scary part is they believe every word they say.
My close friends cirlce has grown smaller in 8 years due to my decisions cutting people out, i chosed 7 as closest and true friends, everyone else had turned into acquaintances or SM friends male or female. I even had taken a break from Social Media i hope to stay away until I feel mentally cleansed from SM.

Tyler JTI OK. well when u were talking about someone leaving you high and dry without an explanation to cut them off seems a bit extreme, then you went on to say they have 24 hours to explain, quick is understandable but to want that person to prove to you and show receipts and evidence is just not showing faith in that person. and to ME if someone needs to keep being reassured that I'm there for them and a real friend ,they have deeper issues that aren't really even directed at me, I just happen to be on the crossfire(the person being lashed out against) at that moment

Now, if a person promises to meet up with you somewhere no matter where it's at. Imagine yourself is someone promises you that they are going to met you some where and they didn't show up no call no show that day! If they tell you at the last minute or before the time that you was supposed to meet up with that person, understandable. If they left you there after they committed to their promised, they need to have an explanation on what happened, if they really cared, they will tell you what happened the next day and get with you. I don't think that you are understanding what I am saying from that secenrio, ; let me explain to you what I speaking here so that you can probably have an understanding. Some people will make up a lie in that scenarios that will make up saying that well something happened to their cell phone on that day to which they promised to meet up with you. On that same day, you don't sense something isn't right or you're having a gut feeling from what that person has spoke to you. Wouldn't you go and do check behind them to see if they were lying or not! I would! I will ask for a receipt to see if they did get a new phone or not on that day or the day after! In what I meant in the video which I didn't clarify it more clear to you, if know for a fact something wasn't right and it wasn't then you have a right to do a background check on them
