Ducati Performance 'old style' Conti megafone silencers on 1999 M900s monster.

I've just got hold of some Ducati Performance, 'old style' (Conti) megafone silencers (DP part number 960058AAA) for my 1999 monster 900s (last and best of the carb monsters as it has the SS motor like the first few m900 years but with some upgrades like the floating rear calliper, lots of carbon fibre and it did have gold line fully floating cast iron discs like the 888 etc but i've replaced those now).
I hoped the Conti DP silencers would give it that awesome classic bevel Ducati sound.
I've got Conti replicas in my Guzzi 1100 and had them on a previous Guzzi 950, I think the Conti silencer sound is hard to beat.
These were about 1000 euros when new frim DP!
They are each 1kg heavier than the beautifully made Mivv stainless megafones I had on til just now, so that means adding 2kg, which I would never normally consider, but for once the sound and look means an extra 2kg is a price worth paying.
They are so gorgeous, and they sound lovely, and this is with the DB killers still fitted!!!!!
For the sake of my neighbours I might leave them in, but I will road test the silencers before I decide because when I tried the Mivvs with their DB killers in, it really massively killed the motors performance.
If the DB killers of the Contis strangle the motor then tough luck neighbours, they'll be getting the Conti music at full volume.
