Tetris Theme - Contemporary Big Band/Classical Fusion Version (The 8-Bit Big Band)
Вставка

- A Dub Step + Tchaikovsky + Folk Song + Chopin + Klezmer infused big band arrangement of the Tetris “Theme A”!! (Also known traditionally as "Korobeiniki"). This is one of my favorite arrangements to date. Not only did I include both Tuba and Accordion in this arrangement, I also inserted all sorts of arranging and composing easter eggs for the really attentive listeners out there including:
• Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony
• The Chopin Revolutionary Etude
• Russian Folk songs “Song of the Volga Boatmen” and “Kalinka”
• A Jewish Hora “Mayim Mayim”
and more!! See if you can hear them all! Thanks for listening and subscribing!!

hi :)
Miyazaki’s worst nightmare
I love the split screen between the smooth relaxing vocals and Jared mean mugging on the drums
They're playing a song from the 19th century that featured in a game from 1984 in a 1930s style in 2019.
Ymfah sent me here

Using a fucking bucket!
I remember hearing the Trombone Video on Instagram. I was so hyped for the full video
Fantastic. No other words for it. As I watch all the videos put up so far, I’m continually blown away.
Only really tallented people can make something this creative and diverse from something as simple as 8-Bit tetris .midi
Outstanding work by your animator!
And your arranger
And your musicians
And everyone else
Was that some Tchaik 5 in the beginning I hear
Can't believe I had to scroll down so far to find someone else who noticed!
we must tell you this, comrade: this is so good, thank you for sharing this masterpiece with the motherland.
The power the piano has at the end during the buildup is so great, It feels so in your face.
2:15 this gives me life
Awesome as HELL! Liked and subbed! Great job, guys and dolls. Can't wait to hear more.
The band does it again! Spectacular!!!
The animator is awesome with the blocks doing the Rusion dance, very creative!!
The arrangement is superb and the video highly loveable. I really love this!
Having not read the description, and since I knew this song before I knew Tchaik 5, this threw me for a fucking loop
Great job! I love the cameos of "Volga Boatmen" and "Kalinka" as well.
Holy frick I love those musical easter eggs!!! I knew I heard familiar things that weren't korobeiniki, but I couldn't pin point them exactly (except for Volga Boatmen)
You guys are fucking great. Love your work on the music and the video editing.
Finally released it!!!!!!
This is beautiful
So great. I love the animations ❤
YAAAAAAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is fucking top notch. The timing of the tetriminos falling to the beat is amazing.
The animator for these videos is really good.
You all might be the coolest people alive. Mad respect to the trumpet player with the Starfleet Academy shirt.
2:04 - Is that volga boatmen? Very nice!
Just found you guys, will now be furiously working through the rest of your uploads. Fantastic musicians and video. Loved it =D
What a class act!
a masterpiece underated and unseen by a lot of people
The drummer seems like such a cool dude
Classic! Excellent piece! [I like the trumpet player's STARFLEET ACADEMY t-shirt!]
This is god damn beautiful, please can we make a petition to make this tetris 99's music
Holy Crap i love the low tempo!!!
una maravilla
Wow, glad i found this channel!
Amazing mashup of Klezmer and Russian! A fitting tribute to the Soviet Russian game designer Alexey Pajitnov
How does this group only have 44k subs....
This shit goes so hard in the paint
This sounds like boss battle music
i almost stood up and claped, forgeting the kids are asleep..
Tchaikovsky is my favorite! OMFG this is amazing!
I know him
Nice tchaikovsky reference at the beginning
I want this played at my bar mitzvah
EPIC.
Wow este vídeo necesita más apoyo porque es un gran trabajo 👌
From one of my Master System II games back when i was 4 !
5800 to 16... that's an appropriate ratio for this level of awesome.
3:31 when the vodka hits
Im a music lover and when I watched this I wanted to see more and I was like "WERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE"
This is now the cover I use in my head for the hypothetical case of Tetrominos coming to Smash. (Trailer opening, several Smash characters are running through an active warzone that is magically dissolving as though being bombed by some mysterious barely-seen force; Solid Snake exclaims that paratoopers are coming. Ominous pan up to... "Tetrominos Drop In!")
How about some Spyro? It's soundtrack was composed by Stewart Copeland, former drummer for The Police.
'The Police'
@@TheGerkuman Oops. Yes.
coooool!!!
Ever since hearing this song on a 400ug LSD comedown, it gives me the most intense goosebumps every time, in a good way.
The slide on those trombones...
Yes
Too good
this was so damn good holy crap
I'm not even that big of a tetris fan
Amazing!
Isn't the baritone sax player from "Brass against"??? Awesome!!!!
Sounds like the theme song to some Mexican superhero...
That tenor sax tho! *pacha doing the “just right” thing*
God I hope tetris still has the custom track option, i would love playing tetris with this version of the song
this would be an insane taiko map
This has UNT AWBJ written all over it! Nice!
This was so wonderfully arranged, performed, edited, and presented! You're all so talented! At the very end before the stinger, was that the main motif from Chopin's Revolutionary Etude??
Forty years ago today…!
That effort for the animation tho
OMG I lost it when the tuba played the main theme 😂😂😂
But no bradinsky?! Nah. This was good! I really love this channel! Keep up the good work
0:47 BOOM TETRIS FOR JONAS
BRAVO!
Theme B next! 😊
If I say I grew up listening to this, some might think I'm from Soviet Union.
No, it was South Korean arcade scenes where this and "Bubble Bubble" themes were screaming in your ears.
Everyone when Tetris Piece is announced for Smash:
om listen that song and feel red inside me
can you guys play at the CTWC please.
That opening hit sounds like a 30 second long David foster quote 😂
That was hard
i honestly dont know if the tetris theme sounds at any way like "kalinka" but dang this is a good jam so really dont care taht much. do enlighten me pls if there is any connection there i probably missed.
I put in a full on Kalinka quote at some point in the chart moving away from the Tetris theme entirely haha you caught me
2:21
"It's not like I like you or anything! B-Baka!"
"Shut up fucknugget, TEN-HUT!"
-Sarge (Slap on Titan)
Some suggestion
Dark star core and the world revolving!
Парни, это круто!!)) 😎
i start listening, i arrive at 0:20 and i'm like... wait... this is not tetris...it's russian, but it's not tetris. then i read the caption :)
Musical game nerds are best nerds
Just 😵
Omg i would love to join but i need 4 more years😭😭😭 of school
2:41 um Kalinka
You can time this with a game called data wing
But you have to finish the whole game to do it
Weirdly sounds like it could be a Mario Kart 8 Bowser castle theme
Can you guys do “Punch-out!!”? I think it would fit your guys’ style well :)
Are you guys going to do Lifelight?
1.25 speed is really good for some reason lol.
This is some Gordon Goodwin level sh*t.
The final boss
😎
Arturo Marqez, Danzon No. 2. Is that one of the references?
Railroad? Never heard of them
Time for some dark souls run~
How come they didn't do that other cool theme in tetris
