Such an eloquent speaker connecting us to the invisible world we long for. I am glad there are books to look for. After all no matter where we are in the world we long to connect with the past.
Thanks for the recommend. I've been a fan of Iain Sinclair ever since I discovered him through Alan Moore's comics. I hope someday to a conversation between Sinclair and either our own Rebecca Solnit, or DJ Waldie.
+Renfro1982 Glad you enjoyed it. I'm in the final stages of making a film about Iain's Overground walk as well. Sinclair with Solnit would be a great conversation. I'll have a look at DJ Waldie
As it happens Hoxton is almost slap bang in the middle of the London Basin, is it? How far is it from the Old Medieval London Bridge? From the Bridge to the Northern most Gate of London is almost a Bee Line to York via Cambridge and Peter's Borough. I need to rewatch a Joolz Guides Video on the Old Roman Gates and Fortifications of Londonium to join these dots.

@ Johnny Shitcock : Who is this pretentious old ponce ? The well-known phrase Emperor's New Clothes springs to mind. You can't say that about national treasure, auteur, bon viveur, wit & raconteur, god's gift to psychogeography, the thinking man's Martin Amis etc etc ... Iain Whatshisname. I knew him when he was a grubby, snivelling secondhand book dealer. Now he writes them. God help us ! PS : Oi Rogers ! are you on holiday or something ?. I am suffering withdrawal symptoms from your lovely videos. At this rate I am going to have to get off my arse and go for a walk myself.
MeTheRob Hi Rob - was busy with other stuff but hope you've caught up with recent vids but also got out for a walk. I've got two more to edit as well. Thanks for your support - much appreciated.
It's strange listening to a writer talk about change in a reactionary way but he has no idea who and what is behind the change . I'm afraid he is living in an uninformed world just like 99% of the population . It;s a great shame .
He is a writer, you moron. Try doing a smidgeon of research before posting such poisonous comments. Dull trolls, the compacted shite at the bottom of the poo bag. Oh, and congratulations on a truly asinine, and the no doubt well-deserved, moniker. Keep up the good walk/work, John.

Tis the Universe, we wouldn't know the dark exists if it wasn't for the starz. I heard that somewhere about a year ago. Thanks Ralph.
