The ladder dream is fascinating and reminiscent of Jacob’s ladder. Ian Sinclair tells a good story because he is able to articulate the mystical connections of ancient activity and current activity as it is filtered through artists writers and poets. This articulation is so important for fear of it getting lost in the quagmire of the mad. But it is not mad it is quite real and some of us dream these dreams and need people like Ian to tell the story.

37:00 there goes Iain Sinclair using a homeless man as a reference point for his profitable blab again. He talks about people not noticing the man, but Iain doesn't either - never engages, never asks his story, never even asks his name. There's no real difference between Iain and the people on the phone to their offices or mothers, he's just on the phone to his own inner monologue.

He did notice the homeless man, he was in the process of finding more out about him when the man disappeared, never to be seen again. He was reluctant at first because he didn't want to disturb him.

@@shh_you_are_wrong Watch the London Review of Books documentary which details Iain watching him for a number of days before Andrew Kötting tries to secretly film him. After which, he's never seen again.

@@shh_you_are_wrong Maybe we saw a different version of events. I'd personally never dream of projecting my thoughts through a homeless person. Maybe Iain should have spoken to him and asked him what he thought of the park rather than just pin his own views on that of the man.

      @@georgepowell72 he's creative, that's what he does.
I thought he was very respectful, and I got the feeling that he would eventually have spoken to him.
Some people don't like to be approached, I don't think he wanted to scare him off.

Nick looks bored out of his mind by the whole thing.
