In this Windwalker Monk PvP guide for patch 11.0.2, I’ll show you how to maximize your burst damage in "The War Within." Whether you’re climbing the ranks in arenas or dominating battlegrounds, this guide covers everything you need to know to excel as a Windwalker Monk in WoW. Thank you so much, that was the initial reason for it to be quick paced and straight to the point
just something to note for all content. Its very nice to have Storm, Earth, and Fire (Clones) on a separate keybinding as well as your burst key so you can use a charge freely if you want. Then you can save your tiger, tirnket racial for a later burst like in some trash in between bosses in a dungeon or doing a mini burst with just clones to bait cd's at the start of an arena and then full burst after you got some cd's out of your opponent. If you have a trinket that is a 1 and a half minute cd you can also make a mini burst macro with your clones.

Great guide, just to point out, you want to Strike of the Windlord first, before Celestial, since it increases your nature dmg done by 10%.

I'm so torn between Shadopan and Conduit, all the top players are running Shadopan but I swear Conduit is better than Flurry in every aspect besides being CCed with it
I'm just having so much fun with conduit, i really haven't given shadopan a chance to be honest, but i am getting some crazy openers with conduit!
Good guide! Here’s a suggestion for you now :) You should use this in your burst macro instead of naming the trinket (i.e. Aspirant, Warmonger, Gladiator) and changing it each time you upgrade it.
/use slot 14
Then just make sure your on-use trinket is always in your second trinket slot. This way you can use that same burst macro for PvE too.

Thanks for the guide. I’m debating on boosting a monk or warrior for PvP. Which do you recommend? I like to be able to do lots of pressure and not necessarily need long cooldowns to do it. Also like being able to self heal and get away if trained
Warrior is great at the moment, especially fury, but in all honesty if you’re looking for heavy sustain and healing I would recommend monk, as you can get behind pillars, heal yourself up and go back in, our burst is also looking great at the moment too!
Might be a lil biased as I am a monk main haha 😝

You need Absolute Serenity to use that built my man, otherwise you get interrupted on Conduit of the Celestials.
I have been testing Shadopan and Conduit, personally i think Shadopan for 3v3 and 2v2 will be the best and Conduit for Solo Shuffle Content.
I 100% agree with you, ever since they took out Serenity it has been a little lack luster in terms of our burst damage, but our consistent damage seems nice :)
doesnt the whirling dragon punch requires rising sun kick and fists of fury to be in cooldown to go off ?
Yes it does, can only be used when both are on cooldown!
Thanks! The main thing I don’t understand when playing WW Is when to just send the burst at the start and when to do a few combo attacks first. C you explain your thought process on this please? Subbed :)
Honestly, i just usually send it in the opener cause you can sometimes get lucky and one shot, after that just stack up your abilities and combo points and then send it off the enemy defensives, i can make another video a lil more indepth on this if you'd like! :)

I play bgs and I don't know how to burst like other melee. Warrior can press 2 buttons and im still on my start up

That icon is my Fire-Eater's Vial! It's a toy i use combined with my rising sun kick to make a lil smoke show effect haha

@@ImVasehhthe one that shows last move to track combo strikes. Also, an icon flashes over your character when cooldown off. And lastly do you have one that tracks vivify instant cast? So basically those 3.
