How can i set my prices higher , im doing about 3-5 cars a day im charging 100-125 for full details or how can i change my costumers that will pay higher
thanks! I work part time out of my home garage and typically strive to make at least $40-50 an hour. More if Coating install. I might be mistaken but it seems like you may be charging higher for an interior detail compared to outside work? I like that concept.. especially as the interior detailing is much harder for me especially almost 50 years old. just wanted you to expand on this a little bit more for me anything you can say will help! My example prices are Interior detail 80-120$ Exteriors: Basic wash and wax 40$ ... Decon wash (clay, iron, tar grease was remover wipe/add 6 month sealant) 80$ ....160$ add machine polishing ......$400-500 ceramic coating. (north central ohio market)
I made about $15K these past 2 months detailing on my own. Still not detailing every day yet, but starting to gain traction with the business. Been watching your videos for some time now. Thanks for everything.
I’ve made 8k+ this summer as a 17 year old. I’ve been getting flooded with inquiries and I’m going to raise my prices soon. Definitely used your advice in the process! Thanks Oscar
I do interior details for $170 for full size vehicles. I’m in Dallas so my market isn’t too much different than yours. Should I be around $250ish ASAP or just hike my prices up little by little?
I would think that its supply and demand. I don't know your market but if you have a lot of customer wanting you to detail their vehicle, that means you are good at what you do so you should price at little higher than average detailers in your city. But if you don't have mush customers, and rise the price then you might not get mush business. I think price should reflect quality of your service. For me, I am fully booked for 60 days on busy season and 30 days on slow season. (I may have about 4 or 5 reschedule/ cancel) So I can increase my price and I might loose some customers but it doesn't hurt much.

Hey oscar, love the videos and advice wish i would’ve found you sooner. There’s a lot of things you say that i wish i knew before starting my mobile detailing business. I thought having expensive tools would bring in all the work/money, but i was definitely wrong because my $150 pressure washer and $60 vacuum have been the ones that make me the most at the moment. Going forward i’m trying to do a lot more full interior jobs which i charge $150 for with shampoo/extracting. I do have a question though, as for what you say on the phone vs in person would it be good to swap prices? starting price is $60, $150, $250. My work is good, i have confidence in my work but should i be giving them as starting/estimate prices? Thanks again!
Great work! Thanks for sharing! Also from TX and curious about what you do as far as protecting your workers... Do you offer work injury insurance, or Workman's Comp? And how much does that run per employee each month?
Damm I’m really thinking of quitting my UPS package delivery job and move on to detailing a make a week about $5200 monthly and this guy is making 15k and I was in high school I had a part time in Toyota dealership wash and detailing I also know how to wet sand and buff paint correction I know this type of work very well I’m really thinking about it 🤔

What if your just starting out invested 1,500$ ? Shouldn’t I wait until I make that money back plus some profit before hiring a 2nd person?

Oscar, just curious, does that $15k include other revenue streams like youtube or is that just from detailing services?
$15K comes directly from detailing services. Nothing related to DG is added to the revenue
