Great tips brother I rather work by myself.....because my standard is high and I can't be going back over someone's work......like I say Great tip Great video
Always Appreciate your insight. And I need to find the right team member actually I need a Lex. Last year I had an employee so I would schedule enough work for the both of us but every once in awhile he would no show and some of these clients had waited more than a month for there detail. Now I had to reschedule them and give up my one day off to get there cars done. Managing people is such a headache but I need to grow
Quick question, when u first started how did u deal with ur water and electricity situation? Did u hook up to the customers water/electricity? Or did u bring water and a generator? Did that effect ur pricing at all?
@@jramirez4190 should not affect your pricing charge what your worth. And most customers I come across offer water and electricity. I personally carry my own water and gen now but most people don’t mind just let them know you need access to it in your initial communication
All I can say is thank you, sincerely and deeply grateful to found your channel. Went to poor and depressed immigrant feeling with no hope, to recently buying my pick up to escale my business and planning on hiring someone in just 4 months!! We need ppl like you!!
commenting at 9:30mins. SUCH AN UNDERRATED VIDEO with POWERFUL INFO. “What if they don’t stay for 5 years? BRO do you even have the business that makes them want to stay for 5 years?” Fucking hard. Love the detailing business focused content bro
You say this alot about needing customers but I would not add too much stress on getting clients because sometimes it takes time to get customers, so not quitting because people arent coming in is also a big missed point. Also Id compare talking to clients just like a landscaping job like when I did odd jobs and landscaped for people and hired my highschool friends for remote work. Same process, but detailing allows you to really just be uninterrupted and specific with things.
I was a great plumbers apprentice but they let me go because a plumber with a certication didn’t like me and was getting aggressive towards me, now they are begging me to come back to their company but I refuse because they dropped me like a sack of potatoes for a certified worker with an attitude after I tried to warn them about him
good on you for having a standard but remember not to let pride get in the way of future decisions, maybe they let him go and they want you back because they saw that they made a huge mistake. It could be a really big blessing in disguise
@@calebmc3296 yea but whose to say it won’t happen again? The boss literally told me I had to put up with his bad behavior and suck it up because he was certified and I wasn’t, just wasn’t a good situation
Yo lex is superhuman in that compression shirt. I bought one after I saw a recent vid with him. Thought maybe it would control arm sweat getting on the interior. I didn’t last past loading my vehicle before I was dying in it and had to take it off.
I don’t understand why you don’t get views but this other youtuber who just starting mobile Detailing in Cali doesn’t even know what he’s doing gets 8k views a day , smh . Your a True professional detailer and good videos for beginners!!
The new guy is ridding the algorithm but regular detailers know the mew guy is really new and doesn’t know what he’s doing. The new guy has stated that and also lets the viewers know to write in the comments to help him out which again helps with the algorithm so much.
@@erickpenaloza1 you’re crazy!! Not here to argue or says who’s better X but from a professional standard and experience is detail grove for sure .. hunter just start he was doing candy machines , no hate but give credit to someone who’s been doing it for a lot longer .. but I get people who don’t do detailing or know anything about it will say hunter .
Erick Penaloza I gotta disagree lil Erik. I hear the responses that Hunter says to the questions in his video and they’re all bullshit. Doesn’t know the different between a basic paint protectant and a wax. He is the definition of doing things wrong. Using Mr. Clean magic eraser to clean leather😂
Hope this helps! Links to everything will be in the description box :)

so true
I’d like to go where you are. Round here anybody you hire/train will try to steal your customers… 🤷🏻♂️
Where are you located? In az?
Damn your like a mile away from the van and that generator still loud 😳
It's the mic. If you're in a room with the AC and recording a video, the AC will sound super loud
Great info!
Hey brother I sent you my van setup!!! When is the extractor reel video comming out I really could use it 🙏🙏🙏
