Great review! I'm just getting adjusted to the foundation. Only wore it once and must say I think it looks stunning. And, I think it looks gorgeous on you. The outside shot really showed how great it looks on you. I did buy a shade a tad too light so have ordered one shade up from Selfridges. I'll mix the two together (something I often do!) Again, great review-really love how this looks on you and I think this is a keeper! YAY!!! 😊

hi tara, this is a beautiful foundation and concealer. you really should try the suqqu powder. i tried it with the foundation & concealer and it was beautiful. its quickly become one of my favorite powders. it’s so finely milled and just beautiful, especially on camera. it looks beautiful on you and TFS!
The foundation and concealer both look gorgeous- *let’s just say YOU look gorgeous!*. I wish you could see the shades of the Suqqu concealers online at Selfridges -but it’s so hard to tell... I think the shade you got might be just fine for me. I’m light with neutral undertones and green eyes.
Fantastic review. Looks beautiful on you. I love this foundation. It is an easy, light-weight, more natural foundation. I have oily combo skin, and I don't mind powdering it, and my face looks healthy & radiant at the end of the day. Your puppy is adorable!
Suqqu also has an eyebrow pen that I love that comes in the color Khaki which is a green tone. It is great for people who don’t want their eyebrows to be too warm and want to counteract any reddish tones... Rosie Huntington Whitely recommended it and it is perfect ❤️
It's an amazing AMAZING AMAZING Japanese luxury brand. It's only sold in the UK outside of Asia. Stunning powders, blushes, highlights and this foundation and, believe it or not, the glowy version which is also gorg. It's my brand of late 2019 and all of 2020.
The concealer is not one I'll be buying, unfortunately, due to illness/meds, I need a full coverage. But it looks very nice. Now, the foundation is right up my street. I am wearing this today! I tried it today over the CoverFX gripping primer, which I've been using a lot lately for more satin and glowy foundations to help them set down a little more. I also use it over Sisley instant perfect and Marc Jacobs. I'm thinking of skipping sunscreen tomorrow or using a sunscreen/primer hybrid and going directly on my skin after moisturizer and seeing how it is. I just love it. I'm 120 neutral beige and its a spot on shade match.
I don't think we can possibly understand what it feels like to shop for beauty products and feel like nothing works for our skin tones because brands don't make products deep enough. I work for a major beauty company and I can somewhat understand. I see deep skin girls walk in and leave empty-handed and let me tell it, it sucks! We recently removed half the shades in a particular full coverage foundation and basically, all the deep shade went out the window with the exception of 1. What if ... and hear me out on this, what if we as a community stop reviewing brands in general who don't cater to everybody under the color spectrum? I don't think it's fair to get what we want. This foundation was highly requested, and too be fair, for being a Japanese brand, they do have dark shades (which is rare) And that's the only reason I decided too review it. But I agree, the shade range is getting better, but still tons of brands are not catching on. My Best friend has a deeper skin tone, and I see her struggles every time we shop makeup together. (And, several times when new stuff is launched, I'll buy things for deeper skin tones just to show how it looks and swatched and hand it over to her and she loves it😁). Ok so at 18:45. That’s how my foundation looks most of the time an hour after I apply it!!!! Whyyyyyyyy?!? Even matte foundations...What am I doing wrong!?!?!? Maybe applying too much? 🧐 The only one that has worked for me is the Smashbox halo tinted one you reviewed and loved not long ago. That one looks beautiful on my skin! It’s the only one that works so well! With other foundations I have tried different primers, no primera, powders but it always breaks up on me. The Smashbox one is the only one that has worked so I am taking this opportunity to THANK YOU!!!!!! Omg puppy 😍🤗🤗
Your poppy is so adorable. You should check for the Golden Ratio dogs. This couple takes in rescue dogs. Most are older and may have medical problems. The dogs are so cute. They get lost of love and are completely spoiled. They are golden retrievers and one doodle.
I purchased this foundation and love it. I apply it with my fingers first and then use a brush to go over. I noticed that applying less foundation works the best for my skin. 😊
I’ve never heard of this brand. It did look very pretty. Right now, I’ve been trying so many different foundations that I’m not so sure I want to spend money on yet another. So, maybe I’ll try it in the future.

hey tara, first of all i must ask where you got your sweater? i’ve never heard of this brand, but i truly appreciate that you’re reviewing this foundation. i love how dedicated and thorough you are in your reviews. i realllly like this foundation and the coverage it gives and how easily it just blends in. it looks so natural and healthy and that’s exactly what i look for in a foundation. i personally like light to medium coverage and this seems perfect for me, and i never wear my foundation for more than 6-8 hours, so this should work well on me. the concealer, on the other hand, might crease up on me also. thank you for putting me up on this brand and foundation. i think it looks amazing on you. i wish i was we had a cold front. it’s still almost 90 degrees and humid AF in florida, plus we have this awesome hurricane coming our way. you’re so freaking stunning, lovie!!! thank you for such a truly thorough review. 💛✨

Hi Tara, I got suqqu foundation but extra rich glow and I love this foundation without any primers and yes I do need to powered too, the only complain I have is the bottle, it’s kind of messy.

The Tom Ford Foundation i swatched in this video was the Traceless Soft Matte liquid foundation. I normally wear the 7.5 shell Beige, but next time I buy it, I'll be getting the 7.2 Sepia. It's a little warm though. @@heidimikell7585 I would say my top 4 favs are the TF stick foundation, the new Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation (i just recently reviewed it, the shade was a little dark in that review, I ended up buying BD51 and it's perfect), the Tom Ford Traceless Soft Matte Foundation and, I have recently fallen in love with the La Mer Soft Fluid foundation LOL) i love those 2 for those days i need more longer lasting Soft Matte finish foundations. They're all great foundations for my skin type💋❤🦋 Hope that helps💋💋

It really shouldn’t move.....Botox is a neurotoxin that stops communication between the nerves and muscle.....literally “freezing” the muscle. The slight movement one might see is due to the muscles surrounding the area that weren’t treated with Botox. If you’re having a lot of movement in the Botox area, you might want to reach out to your doc. I will say though, Botox can take a couple of weeks to fully kick in, not sure how long it’s been since your procedure......during that wait period, try to avoid “expression” of that area of possible. I’m sure you already know all that 😉
They are ALL 3 in the Beige category. The shade range is not great, but better than I've seen from other Japanese brands. If you go to their Instagram page, they have swatches of all the shades. I also included that image in my video at 2:38 ... I hope that helps🦋
P.S. I wear a lot of the same foundation shades as Alecia from Kinky Sweat, and Kelsee Brianna Jai. Just too use as a reference of my skin tone.. Alicia reviewed this foundation and had 2 shades on her channel. I wish I would have watched her video before buying the concealer lol. She had 2 shades of both the foundation and Concealer on her channel❤❤
It did look quite lovely on you but a few of your other foundations both older HG (TF stick foundation) and newer like Chanel Les Beige healthy glow and TF Traceless Soft Matte I feel looked much nicer on you, perfection really plus I don't powder my face just under the eyes and a bit on the T-Zone and this would be way too shiny for me as I prefer a natural soft satin slight radiance to give that healthy look - as I'm older now I can't wear matte foundations as I find they look too dull, lifeless and dry even on my normal skin. I also didn't like how it was breaking up on the skin even after not all too long wear. and your HG don't do that, at least not as quickly or to that extent. A pass for me. I like a medium coverage foundation but like you, a high coverage concealer that has a satin, natural finish and that's not too heavy and thick, dead matte nor dewy, shiny as anything shiny will draw attention to that area and therefore exaggerate any fine lines around the eyes. I'm sure you'll get the wear out of this foundation though as one for daily use and when not needing a long-wear or glam, flawless finish foundation. BTW Tara, your skin is of late looking gorgeous and I'm so happy for you that you found a skincare product that is giving you these great results. Sending love xoxox
Ya its crazy shipping. I buy the year long shipping from Selfridges, meaning i pay a poor time fee of $35 and I can order anything from Selfridges for free for a year. As the concealer is too light put it on first then apply the foundation. This will shade match we’re you want it.

hey tara, first of all i must ask where you got your sweater? i’ve never heard of this brand, but i truly appreciate that you’re reviewing this foundation. i love how dedicated and thorough you are in your reviews. i realllly like this foundation and the coverage it gives and how easily it just blends in. it looks so natural and healthy and that’s exactly what i look for in a foundation. i personally like light to medium coverage and this seems perfect for me, and i never wear my foundation for more than 6-8 hours, so this should work well on me. the concealer, on the other hand, might crease up on me also. thank you for putting me up on this brand and foundation. i think it looks amazing on you. i wish i was we had a cold front. it’s still almost 90 degrees and humid AF in florida, plus we have this awesome hurricane coming our way. you’re so freaking stunning, lovie!!! thank you for such a truly thorough review. 💛✨
Love your review... For how much it costs, I would've expected it to be perfect.. not so oily even if it's a cream foundation. So thanks again for the review.. at least I know it's not worth the money in my opinion...

Hi Tara, I got suqqu foundation but extra rich glow and I love this foundation without any primers and yes I do need to powered too, the only complain I have is the bottle, it’s kind of messy.

Very thorough video. Was wondering what the difference between the glow and the regular cream foundation is. Also totally not related to makeup but about your golden. We lost one of ours last year and am wonderful who you got yours from. You said mellow which is a hard trait to find in this breed. Have had them for over 30 years...lol

The Tom Ford Foundation i swatched in this video was the Traceless Soft Matte liquid foundation. I normally wear the 7.5 shell Beige, but next time I buy it, I'll be getting the 7.2 Sepia. It's a little warm though. So I was thinking if it's a little warm I could use a few stripes of the 7.5 shell Beige. 7.5 is a little more neutral so depending on if you're really warm or more neutral I would choose based on that🦋

@@heidimikell7585 I would say my top 4 favs are the TF stick foundation, the new Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation (i just recently reviewed it, the shade was a little dark in that review, I ended up buying BD51 and it's perfect), the Tom Ford Traceless Soft Matte Foundation and, I have recently fallen in love with the La Mer Soft Fluid foundation LOL) i love those 2 for those days i need more longer lasting Soft Matte finish foundations. They're all great foundations for my skin type💋❤🦋 Hope that helps💋💋

I got botox I have a question for u. Can u flex or is it frozen between your eyes? I got 20cc between my eyes and I can still move it.
I can flex but it's a very light movement. Not a lot. But a little..❤❤
It really shouldn’t move.....Botox is a neurotoxin that stops communication between the nerves and muscle.....literally “freezing” the muscle. The slight movement one might see is due to the muscles surrounding the area that weren’t treated with Botox. If you’re having a lot of movement in the Botox area, you might want to reach out to your doc. I will say though, Botox can take a couple of weeks to fully kick in, not sure how long it’s been since your procedure......during that wait period, try to avoid “expression” of that area of possible. I’m sure you already know all that 😉
Hello Tara lynn do you know the undertones of the three darkest shades of this foundation
They are ALL 3 in the Beige category. The shade range is not great, but better than I've seen from other Japanese brands. If you go to their Instagram page, they have swatches of all the shades. I also included that image in my video at 2:38 ... I hope that helps🦋
P.S. I wear a lot of the same foundation shades as Alecia from Kinky Sweat, and Kelsee Brianna Jai. Just too use as a reference of my skin tone.. Alicia reviewed this foundation and had 2 shades on her channel. I wish I would have watched her video before buying the concealer lol. She had 2 shades of both the foundation and Concealer on her channel❤❤

It did look quite lovely on you but a few of your other foundations both older HG (TF stick foundation) and newer like Chanel Les Beige healthy glow and TF Traceless Soft Matte I feel looked much nicer on you, perfection really plus I don't powder my face just under the eyes and a bit on the T-Zone and this would be way too shiny for me as I prefer a natural soft satin slight radiance to give that healthy look - as I'm older now I can't wear matte foundations as I find they look too dull, lifeless and dry even on my normal skin. I also didn't like how it was breaking up on the skin even after not all too long wear. and your HG don't do that, at least not as quickly or to that extent. A pass for me. I like a medium coverage foundation but like you, a high coverage concealer that has a satin, natural finish and that's not too heavy and thick, dead matte nor dewy, shiny as anything shiny will draw attention to that area and therefore exaggerate any fine lines around the eyes. I'm sure you'll get the wear out of this foundation though as one for daily use and when not needing a long-wear or glam, flawless finish foundation. BTW Tara, your skin is of late looking gorgeous and I'm so happy for you that you found a skincare product that is giving you these great results. Sending love xoxox

Ya its crazy shipping. I buy the year long shipping from Selfridges, meaning i pay a poor time fee of $35 and I can order anything from Selfridges for free for a year. I do it because I buy stuff from them to review (and I heard this may come to America soon) but it's not worth paying extra for crazy shipping. I totally agree❤❤❤🦋🦋🦋
