MrThorsStone I have just started my animated series collection with the batmobile deluxe and my plan is to buy at least 2 pieces per month until I finish it. Once I finish I will get any animated series figures they already got (like superman and lois) and if they decide to release the whole jl even better for me
The clamp in the Batwing was used in BTAS episode "Feat of Clay Part I" while in hot pursuit and interrogating Raymond Bell in his car on who was responsible for the attempted murder of Lucius Fox then lets him go into the top building's pool after Gotham PD showed up and arrested him
The Batwing was a 2 seater in the show & the claw was used in feet of clay part 1 (the clayface 2 parter). Interior looks perfect & fantastic lit up. Great review, cant wait to own it & see how they "top it".
Nice review Jay. Couple of things. The Batwing was definitely a 2-seater in the show. My favorite Batwing moment was in the BTAS "Sub Zero" movie when Batman and Robin fly to rescue Barbara Gordon from Mr. Freeze. Check that movie out if you haven't seen it. Also the Bat-claw on the front was used in "Feat of Clay: part 1" to hold a thug by the wrist and scare the crap out of him. It was also used in "Terror In The Sky" to catch a stewardess who gets sucked out the door of passenger jet.

Damn great review. I'm thinking of putting hooks on the ceiling and having it chase after the black series tie fighter but being 6 feet tall i'm wondering if it will be cutting me off from a section of my nerd cave. Going to see if it drops in price like the Batmobile did.

I don't know why anyone would use the Keaton batman with this... First off, aside from the general shape, it's nothing like the movie version, and the aesthetic is COMPLETELY and jarringly different.
Gotta say for the price point it's just not worth it.although it may look cool onscreen it's so basic looking in hand with no real aesthetic value imo.

In the show, the claw holds a thug by his wrist, thats probably why it doesn't fit on the waste

Thankfully this is being released this Christmas cause prices for the original have lost all contact with reality.
