Gonna try the fabric paint idea or spray on adhesive if I can find white Flex Seal. These particular plastic outsoles aren't sandable.

GLUE!... I think u will end up with loads of small bits of sand, stones, & junk sticking to them. I think you will end up with a bumpy uneven sole to walk on. Don’t worry because that glue isn’t that strong & it will all come off & you can clean them up. You should be able to keep using your shoes. I think it’s a lot of work for nothing, but if you want to try it out; post a video & lets see what it does.

Do you have any tips on fixing the toe loop if the leather breaks off?? My feet sweats a lot and I also tend to run a lot in my chappals (running for the bus/train or in between meetings in my work) and two of my chappals toe loop have broken. I hate buying new ones just for this reason. Any advise would be a life saver!

why not stuff paper in the front and like she, the host does, instead put a plaster on the sole, stick one to the back-inside of the shoe for less-slipper.

Hi there, here are a few easy ways to stop your shoes/sandals from making noise:
Spray Antiperspirant.
Apply talcum powder (sparingly).
Spray waterproofing solution.
Apply WD-40 on squeaky areas.

You can try and take your slippery shoes to your local cobbler. They will apply sheets of rubber that will make your shoes slip-resistant.
