Great match! I am fairly cetain the iSU152 is the Apple version of the SU152 (which was made by Microsoft) The more you know eh?

The SG-43 was a new model to replace the old Maxim, building up on a successful but bulky and unwieldy design.
It was a good design as well, apparently considered quite reliable, with better range and about 10kg lighter than the Maxim.
The Soviet industry was never able to produce enough to fulfill the demand, hence the continued use of the Maxim in large numbers.

The ISU have better armour than the SU indeed, as they're using the IS chassis instead of the KV-1S
They also have big AP rounds, which the SU-152 lacks
