I mean, the early acces kinda feels like a chinese ripoff fps game, but having said that, the gameplay feels actually pretty sweet, espacially the guns. Im sure they will polish it. The extraction mode, I'd say they go along with trend. Nothing really refreshing, but I like it.

The Home Army (Armia Krajowa - AK) was an underground army created by Poles during the occupation of Polish lands in 1939. Their largest operation was the ‘Operation Tempest’ or Warsaw Uprising. There were a lot of children and teenagers in the army, we are even talking about as young as 7 years old (their main role was to act as messengers) many of them unfortunately never returned home. It is a really interesting and sad phase of polish history but I recommend to learn about it you won't regret it :) Greetings from Poland

What days and hours do you usually play?

This is fantastic work. Not sure I could watch these on a regular basis, but as a showcase of the graphic beauty of SD2 and a reminder that the game is based on real-life battles, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's nice to occasionally zoom in & look at the chaos close up but we tend to spend most of the game zoomed out, looking at little icons, forgetting how much effort Eugen put into making every blade of grass sway in the wind.

No more than a few dozen T34/85's were captured and even less actually used against the advancing Russians. T34/76's were used however, either as recovery or training vehicles, or upgraded with German optics and radios and used in the front line. The main problem with the T34/76 was that the Commander and Gunner were the same person and hence tended to be considered inferior to the German tanks. On the Erdkampflafette machine gun, it's actual range was 800-1000m, so you were right to be somewhat suspicious of it's range in-game, especially compared to the 20mm used elsewhere on vehicles. Good game.

I feel like M8 car rushes are usually not used to potential. IMO, they're best used to interdict fast deployment troops from enemy, then hide and fish for side shots rather than just being thrown away so early. Only Tiger 1/2 and IS2 have enough side armor to bounce most shots from side...they can still pen a side hit, but it's not common with 70mm at 500m or less. In contrast M8 are dangerous to panther/Pz4/stug and other allies' tanks out to full 1250m with side hits, and at 5 damage they're a 2 shot kill. They'll probably still die sooner or later, but might as well try to squeeze more value. Pretty good in cities too due to the .50 cal. Hurts to see them squandered. I prefer the tube arty rather than the 120mm mortars just because of how nasty corrected shots are...enough that I'd drop the mortars and just use more tube arty, though the mortars did work here. It's one of a few ways you can deal with heavy tanks, and they're pretty lethal against anything else with small dispersion circles too. Mortars that have radio by default and especially those that are on wheels are a whole different story, those are dangerous to enemies and very slippery if you queue move them. The cheap soviet AT guns are pretty useful when you set up side shots/micro them, but I think one reason the soviets are considered weak is that this requires more knowledge/awareness/micro to make them work well. It's a lot easier to use axis tanks than soviet field guns, but man seeing stuff like tiger E and panther D die to 45mm guns in your kill feed feels nice.

Corrected shots help so much in getting arty to hit those tanks and do some good damage before they can move.

Tiger 1 and panther are not safe to 76mm APCR at 2k. They are ~50% to pen, often a bit higher, and a pen will proc crits. You need a king tiger, IS2, or similar armor threshold to block that.

I don't know actually but i wouldn't put it beyond the Wehrmacht to replace bad russian gun sights with either german ones or maybe others captured in europe earlier in the war :)

hey, man, I've been enjoying the enthusiastic commentary. Loving the SD2 content, looking forward to (but not asking for) future games. Do you venture outside of RTS? Decisive Campaigns: Ardennes Offensive is great but obviously very different.

Well played, but I am always surprised by how passive so many players are. An attack by just 3 squads of infantry backed up by all that fire-power would have torn you apart. Instead they just say around for the whole of A phase.

Thanks for casting. You opponents never really brought enough artillery or infantry. Keep casting!

The king tiger team should have had used smokes to cross that bridge, just send there at least five or more squads, otherwise it is just firing on each other from one side to another. Great commentary !
