Ausar CLEARLY is a must-starter. Time for THJ to sit and await his next destination. Cade/ Ivey/ Ausar/ Harris/ Duren has to be considered a playoff lineup!
As a diehard fan since 2002 through a little ups and ALOT of downs im just happy to see people excited about detroit basketball again! Our coaching staff knows what theyre doing
I think it's either crazy or really thoughtless to say that not making the play in is a "failure". For one thing, we give up our first round pick if we do make the play in. But more importantly, sneaking into the play in doesn't really have any long term benefit. What we need is the team to continue to improve on a week to week basis like we saw from the Lions after Campbell's first year. No matter who gets extended or doesn't, the younger players on the team are straight up *not good enough* right now to contend for a championship. Forget the play in, it's more important that they players they do commit to and those that they acquire over the offseason are good enough to not only make the playoffs next year but to challenge good teams when they do get in.
Thank you bro I don’t get why these guys don’t get that , we’re gonna make the play in and be trash in another 2 years , these guys don’t have a winning mindset , we need to continue to build through the draft . We need another star scorer to go along with Cade . Someone like tre Johnson
Duren needs a lot of work. Kid needs to learn the basics of defense and using his big body! But don't pull the plug on him just yet! What does need to happen is Thompson needs to find his way into the starting 5. I would also like to see the Pistons bring in a SF or PF who can really kick some azz. I would move Thompson to the starting SF/PF. Duren/Stewart at the 5 is solid for now.. Unless the Pistons can bring in a vet Center
Im more concerned about their health and bench getting stagnant on offense. The starting 5 is not bad as long THJ make shots or someone better replace him.
My comment on the rotation. One, the most important thing going forward is to play better defensive players. Sasser, Moore, Reed need regular rotation minutes. Maybe not a ton, but certainly regular. No more forgetting about them if things are going ok in the injury department. When we are well ahead in a game late, we need both Holland and Thompson out there, to hold that lead. The combo of Harris and Hardaway on the floor at the same time, has been horrible to this point. A negative 7 net rating, and this for one of our most used 2 man combos. That combo needs to to be broken up, one way or another. Me, I'd start neither one, and probably not even play either one. Tech is another guy I would not play. When Klintman gets healthy, it will give us plenty of forwards, all defensively capable. Reed, Moore, Klintman, Holland, Thompson. And, if Beasley, Ivey, and Cade are all 3 in together, Cade becomes, defensively, the small forward. Same for Sasser, Ivey, Cade. We just don't need weak defenders like Tech, Harris, and THJ.
If that means THJ is getting the same number of minutes as the 6th man while Cade and Ivey have their minutes staggered does it make much of a difference?
@@devonjudah1108 it might've helped a little but Ivey being out tonight took away the second option from the starting unit. Had Ivey started instead of Ausar or THJ, that might have helped with scoring. Although neither would have provided much extra on defense. That said scoring 30 in the first would have kept the game under a 20 point differential in the first quarter.
@ I just believe if you come out the gate and put your foot on their necks you can demoralize a team and have a chance to play with a lead for the entire game🤷🏾
BEEN TIME my boy!! Hardaway should've NEVER been there from the start..Why never try Stew Duren combo for an extended period?? Why not try starting both youngsters on the wings?? It's a lot of lineups that would make this team run A LOT smoother..I think JB could do a MUCH better job of starting lineups and situational lineups🤦🤦

I would bring Harris off the bench and start Holland 🤷
No
Honestly I hope we can get a winning streak going and get in good playoff position before All star break
ONLY if we make some lineup changes
Why ? So we can get bounced ??!
@@armontimuzic6785 not so sure we would get bounced with some lineup changes
Rethink starters no but rethink matchups and pay more attention at what works against who with what 😂
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Y’all don’t know what y’all talking about our starting lineup isn’t good

That backtrack is dope. Anyone knows what it is? (22:58)
That’s me! A DetroitKoolAid track. I uploaded tons of instrumentals I’ve made to the system so we stop getting copyrighted for other music
@WoodwardPistons do you offer them to the public?

So, are u saying trade for a star r wait for these to develop??

@@luniz4209 Dude, when did the Lions trade Stafford??
3:31 What the heck was that?
“Oh Demolish them.” As it relates to the Utah Jazz
Malik Beasley should clearly start it not even a debate no more we got actual numbers to back it up

I expected 40 wins. I won't go below that.

Ivey is a 6th man and has a 6th man game . He should move to the bench . Cade , Beasley , Ausar , Tobias , Duren
Agree....never liked the combo of Cade and Ivey= turnover machines!
@@AndrewPolandercoach Spo would disagree with u
Starters:
Cade
Beasley
THJ
Harris
Duren
Bench:
Sasser
Ivey
Fontecchio/Holland
Ausar/Fontecchio
Stewart
Start Beasley over THJ and with his fire power you won’t have to rely on the bench so much you’ll get off to a better start💯
If that means THJ is getting the same number of minutes as the 6th man while Cade and Ivey have their minutes staggered does it make much of a difference?

Jaden Ivey good enough to start but not be a six man
We dont need to start ausar or holland they both can build a new stadium for the team shooting. We need shooting startering
