Wonderful work Margaret. The bags are a great idea to protect the journal and showcase gorgeous fabrics which some of us have hiding in cupboards. You have a beautiful array of papers and that would be a journalers dream to add writing to. Thank you Sara-Lee for bringing us this video and helping Margaret show case her work.
So great that you shared Margaret's beautiful journals, plenty of room in them to be creative, nostalgic or whatever theme you choose. Thanks for sharing them Sara-Lee 💐
Sara Lee, it is so precious of you to share new artists with us. Margaret's journals are beautiful. They look like treasures one would joyfully discover in granny's attic.
OMG!!! I love the lace bag that goes with this gorgeous journal, what a unique idea, how beautiful is this. It's saying decorate me now!!! Love this Margaret x
Sara-Lee, it is so sweet of you to introduce these wonderful artists to us on your channel. Both of these journals are beautiful and so well made. I love all of the original ephemera and those patterns of dresses from the 1950s. Every page has something delightful to look at. Very inspiring. Hello, to Margaret, and thank you for your work. Best wishes to you as you continue making these art pieces, aka writing journals.
I adore these journals they have been put together with taste and style the colours and papers compliment each other beautifully please keep making them!😊
So happy for Margaret that both SOLD! Not only will these make great writing journals, but also super fun art journals. With all the different kinds of amazing papers she’s included, it could be so fun to see how pen, pencil & paint react with them. You’re awesome for helping fellow journal makers! Fabulous work Margaret!
Both of these journals are gorgeous. And I adore their little bags! Journals like this are perfect for writing in, adding your own bits and pieces as you go. And the pages and ephemera are beautiful 💕 Thanks for sharing ❤
Both journals are beautiful and the bags are gorgeous! The perfect touch. I love the luscious papers she used and all the interesting ephemera. I think these are writing journals , draw paint embellish as you wish. I love to save tickets and memorabilia from places we visit, notes from my grandsons and things they write or draw. Sarah you do need to do a special journal for yourself with memories of your son. Children grow fast so today will soon be memories. Glad your journal is coming along. I knew it would.
Margaret! These are lovely and right up my alley. I love to write in my journal every evening about so many things. It’s so rewarding to go back and read later about things I would have forgotten. Getting things out of my heart and head and onto paper is incredibly helpful for me. You’ve left lots of room for that! Good job!🎉
Hello Shawn's. I started journal writing when we went into lockdown and have continued since. I have quite a few completed journals on my shelf now. Love it

What wonderful creators you both are, your journals are gorgeous, I'm also a kiwi and am so inspired to use papers and ephemera that showcases NZ. I realise asking this is like wanting to know a fishing spot so absolutely ok if you want to keep it a secret haha. Well done ladies loved the video xx Sue

@sara-leearmstrong5009 Thankyou will have a look at the live auction. Nothing in particular just everything that catches my eye !!! I got some vintage letters with envelopes from JaysBottleBarn (Etsy/Canada), which were very cool but I had to sell a kidney to pay for the postage 😄 Thanks for you help, the hunt is part of the fun x
Lovely to hear from another Kiwi. Finding stuff is the luck of the draw. I always say the vintage stuff I like most people would throw out. Grrr. Opshop, auctions, marketplace and lovely stuff gifted from friends and some strangers.
