One thing the producers don't specify don't know why is to warm the sticker before applying with a heat gun. The glue needs a bit of heat to become sticky enough to not peel from the wall. Try this!

The middle where you fold this stuff (as instructed) just splits so you're basically left with two thin strips - then try closing the gap that results - impossible. And it doesn't always stay stuck.
Tip. A friend updated his bathroom with this tape and was told to ..apply silicone caulk and apply the tape before the caulk dries and it will stay in place and also ,protect it from water seeping thru. Trying today ... fingers crossed 😊
Made a brown, rust-looking color on my tub that took me longer to clean than to install a new one. We have gaps in our shower surround, so normal caulk won't work. This tape is 1-5/8" so covers it. But I still have to super glue the corners, then run caulk at the tops and bottoms of the strip to keep water out, and even then it's good for maybe 6 months.

Yeah, sure, it's easy to install. But after a month, water gets in behind it because the galaxy brains who created this put the tape/glue in the MIDDLE of the strips, not on the ENDS where it should be, so water constantly gets behind it. You still have to run a bead of caulk on the top and bottom.

Tried this. Don't do it! We thoroughly removed old caulk, cleaned and wiped down, then dried thoroughly. Some places did not want to stick initially. Pressed on those a little longer until it appeared they were sticking. We allowed 2x recommended drying time before using shower. This stuff lasted one shower...I went into bathroom after my daughter finished and it was practically lying in the tub! Pulling the remainder off could have been done by a baby. Plain old caulk did the trick and is easy to do, albeit slightly messier.

Really tacky looking when finished, like cheap 1970s motel tacky. Plus the top and bottom edges do not seal to the wall/tub so water will get behind them and you will have to constantly clean that out. I'm peeling it off and caulking instead. Sure, it was easy to put on, but the finished look is not worth it.
I have put backer rods into big gaps in the corners and several places on the sides of tub. Then, I siliconed around the whole tub, including up-and-down on the surround. I did a messy job!! But the silicone is in there. Now, I'm adding this tape on top of the silicone. Trying to keep water from getting behind the "self-draining" surround - NOT!! Hope it works. Had new tub and surround installed - they would not caulk it - said it didn't need it!! Disagree. Holds a ton of water behind the surround that I had to spend hours to get dry!

Worked great for me. It took a lot of elbow grease to get it ready to put on but it went on great
As soon as it gets wet it comes off.
purchase a strong waterproof adhesive for bathroom tile to use with the tape. afterwards caulk over it with a quality waterproof caulking.
You can use it for other purpose besides bathtub. Works great for hiding seam. :)

If you want to throw your money in the trash then buy it it doesn’t work at all take it off the shelf guys just put some regular caulking
A tube of tub caulk and a caulking gun is a whole lot faster and easier to install.
