Had the flu in November, i got bored of being in the house after 2 days so i did my best to get dressed to go out in my Wellington's and heavy rain coat. After the strain of putting on my clothes i was knackered and did not go for a walk...

Tristan Ramage , my kids got sick friday, spiking 103 fevers, head ache and now cough. my two eldest, then my youngest finally got it. viscous cycle. im allergic , im dad , even if i get sick i have to act like im not and keep working. siiigh but they are worth it.

Hi Matt, Hope the kids feel better soon! It's heartwarming to see your love and care of animals! We dairy farmed for years and still enjoy nature and seeing wildlife. The pictures of the model cars reminded of my Dad and brother building a plastic workable engine. Maybe you and Lincoln can do that when he is older. Love to see videos of you and your family! I just got over the flu and my wife is still getting better. This year’s flu is really bad and affects each person slightly differently and ends up changing throughout the course of its duration. I haven’t had the flu in 3 years until this year. Mine lasted 2 weeks and I lost 5 pounds. Still wishing you all Merry Christmas!
Observing Humanity wondering if you took a flu shot? Not judging just wondering. I hear there are flu types the current vaccine doesn't cover.
@@jcrefasi1 I get a flu shot every year and I ended up with the flu this year. My doctor said that this strain is slightly different and the vaccinations aren't working as well. Or something like that. It's the first time I've gotten the flu after already having a flu shot.
@@BoomerKeith1 I have heard that from quite a few people. One friend insists the shot "gave" her the flu! So she refuses to take them any more. That's a big gamble IMHO.
I had the flu once when I was in my 20's and it kicked my butt big time. I hope I never get that sick again. I've been very lucky that in the 30+ yrs I've taken the shots that somehow it worked for what strain I was exposed to and luckily somehow I avoided the strains it didn't cover.
@@jcrefasi1 Flu shots are basically a dead version of the virus, so I don't think you can actually get the flu from the shot. But, this year, the shot isn't working for every one.
@@BoomerKeith1 my doctor said the same thing. The shot doesn't give you the flu. If you take the shot and then get sick he said he can guarantee it is a strain that wasn't covered in the shot.
