I get that it's creepy and all, but it still breaks my heart when people mistreat toys like these, I'm happy to see someone keeping a furby for soooo long uwu
I have a 1999 furby I found at the goodwill, and I left it in my grandparent's basement ever since, and then 4 years later, I found him in a tote and he had no batteries, so I put batteries iin him, and she worked, my furby's name is Doo-Moh
Hadn't put batteries in mine in 13 years. Tried to last night, but he did this weird thing where his face was moving nonstop (when he finally woke up). Hopefully, I can get him working properly again at least for one more round of playtime now that I have so much more knowledge about how to play with him (the cool little tricks and whatnot). Either way, I can honestly say I've come back around to loving Furby even though I (like many) have my share of childhood scars around the low-battery nightmare noises. Props to everyone who still has their old Fulbys and takes care of them, whether they still work or are just nice little silent cuddle buddies.
Furby's were so weird and creepy but l'd love to have one again. I wish in the 90s I would have known how valuable and sentimental the toys would have been in the future because I would have kept them all. I had some super awesome toys.
I have about a dozen of them. They were fascinating when they came out and i still think they are clever and fun. Actually quite an electro mechanical accomplishment for the time.
My brother had a couple of these back in the day. He would leave to go to his dad's house for the weekend and we would start randomly hearing these noises from his bedroom 😂

Sounds like he owns a pawn shop in Brooklyn and smokes 60 Marlboro a day.
I still find myself singing the little songs the furby sings, even 23 years later.
This is so creepy, but would love one, aha.

In 1999 my then boyfriend threw one across the room and it screamed.
I owe my furby an apology, my stupid little child mind thought it was saying “shut up” to me and so I put it in a shoe box and sat on it as punishment

I really missed my furby’s voice and movement, thanks so much for this video.
I love Furbys because they can be really creepy and then in an hour they're the cutest creature on earth I'm amazed
As a toy, I think the Furby was very impressive for its time, especially its programmed capabilities.

Heh, I always thought it was kind of funny when the classic Furby would say "Hmmm, boring!" like at

This toy gave me so much joy as a kid ☺️
I remember these things. Holding them upside-down was hilarious when they panicked.
don't you think it sounds a bit like Yoda from star wars so sweet
