I have 3 worksheets (tables) in a workbook). 1- Companies with 10 field including name, address, website, . 2- 2- Contacts with names, company names, title, phone number and email address. 3- Opportunities including names, address, etc. and companies which are working on any particular project and that is all. 4- Each sheet or table can have 100 to 10,000 records (Contact worksheet has the most) What I am trying to achieve is when selecting a company name (either from drop down box or...) see the records of all its employees and its opportunities if there are any also be able to edit or update the extracted values, if needed. Can someone help me by showing me how these can be done via VBA, or Power Lookup or any other means. I would appreciate it.
How can I add together two cells containing a time each while using the formula concatenate? example: A1=01:10:00; B1=02:10:00; C1= concatenate("the total time is";" "; A1+B1). I am doing this, but the formula does not see the time as 'time' and it is giving me weird number instead! any tips please!
You can do this like this way: go to c1 and add, =a1+b1. Then apply to this cell this custom format type for time: "The Sum is " h:mm:ss be careful there is a gap between the " character and the h character.
@@galousisx excuse me. I was clear in my question, clear in what the cells contains, and clear when I asked for tips!!! what are you giving me??? what the fuck is "h:mm:ss ???? You obviously have no clue what concatenate function is or does... ANYTHING between " " is considered a text and will be written as is! Excel does not consider it as calculation if the cell contained "1+1" for example, the result will be 1+1. So EITHER help correctly and you are thanked, or dont do anything stupid. The point is, give me (if you know) what I should write EXACTLY IN C1 cell to get the following: The total time is 03:20:00.
@@kumarsravan02 I think you did not EVEN SEE WHAT I wrote!!!! where is the fucking concatenate in your answer???????? Anything you write inside " " will be understood as TEXT!!!!!!! i.e. will come as is in the cell!!!! Either you know and can help, thank you! if not, dont give stupid answer.
This the best tutorial on Excel 2019 that I have seen so far. It is so hard to find a good one when you get to be in a bit more advanced level.

I think using text function u can get the results text(a1+b1, "hh:mm:ss")

="the total time is "&TEXT(A1+B1,"[hh]:mm")
41:54 CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER works only for the first cell. I watched 20 times thinking that I'v missed something.
Remember that initially you have to select the whole range that will show the results, not enter the formula in one single cell

Plz provide the data to practise.
