The Japanese soldier I believe is Chief Inspector Takeshi Kido from Man in the High Castle while he was an infantryman in the Imperial Japanese Army during the war.
9:04 I never connected the dots before watching this and only just realized this. But when the piolet comments about destroying this PT boat in specific here: He's refering to Captain Henry Walker from Battlestations Midway. I believe PT-23 was his vessal at pearl harbour in the first game. (Effectively making this game: an alternate timeline split from the first mission of Midway, where instead of him surviving pearl and eventually defending many assaults with his PT boat and then spear-heading his destroyer in various daring assaults and then finally leading the head of the aircraft carriers in the Pacific theatre. He dies at Pearl, never aiding in the evacuations with his PT. Never spear-heading the assaults with his destroyer and then finally being the head of the aircraft carriers.......Who knew, that a singular captain's death would be so impactful and a catastrophic blow to the allied cause) ((more then simply destroying the planned battleships would've ever been)).
that mission is scripted.... so it wouldnt matter.... You can even have the Torpedoes hit the West Virginia Directly and it would still count towards the mission, and we all know that hitting a ship with a torpedo like a bomb does absolutely no damage.
Nice Gameplay Movie! Thx sir! +1 for not destroy the USS Solace medical ship :-) Ian Thomas you right so damn funny, but you can tell please, what really they did there? ^^ (both heroes of Midway died in Pearl Harbor) xD
Midway carrier battle - When you could've sunk the American fleet three times over almost immediately but instead choose to dick around with a submarine that is completely out of torpedoes.
@@alexanderhoraitis6801 Well the A 150 Design (What is usually referred to as 'Super Yamato', not entirely correctly) is not really a Yamato Modification it is its own design that takes some Ideas from Yamato, but would have been an entirely differentt ype of ship.

I always thought that Japanese campaign was more fun.
Yeah, kicking some Yankee asses never gets boring
Cuz banzai charge
it is because we all know the u.s campaign lol
Because it was rare to see a war in the “enemy” perspective only some game that has it
@Jack der Hauptsturmführer or tno

5:27:47 "Once an American state..." - Hawaii did not become a state until 1959, 14 years after WWII.
@Your boy TomTech - In 1941, Hawaii was a territory of the United States, like Guam and American Samoa are today - but not a state.
thats only legal technicality.
@@jarrodyuki7081 In the United States, there is an enormous difference between a territory and a state.
@@bookhouse70 i know legal technicality.
Well technically japanese campaign is alternate history since they won, I see your point still👍
This game is such an underrated gem.
9:04 That was the PT Boat from Battlestations: Midway. So funny. I see what you did there, Edios. Funny. And Donald too? 24:24. Wow. Just, wow.

This games looks very nice, I've been picking a few games to store in my old computer, this one is definitely a good find
祥鳳の救援のミッションの最後に零戦を着艦させるシーンで終わるところがいいですね。
It wasn't scripted in the game. Just a coincidence.
9:04 Battlestations: Midway reference there. :)
2:40:08 that is a big as AP shell :p
Bradens reviews yamato or musashi fire it XD
Ahh my childhood
Absolutely brilliant submarine warfare during the I-52 mission...(sarcasm)
Which one?
loved the vid
you should have dive bombed with the Val it would have increased your damage
on the pearl harbor one

5:29:16 - The Man in the High Castle, anyone?
My thoughts exactly
@@GamePlayShare I loved the book. Too bad the TV series was so bad in the final season. :(
I just found out about this game and it’s the most fun I have had in a long time
make sure you check the mods for this game after you finish it.

Meeting the Germans mission is pretty hard. That's the only mission that's the hardest in the japenese campaign.
On the second mission, that was the worst angle to come in for a dive bomb, it almost made me angry the way you handled it.
Zee Utuber the second mission doesnt include dive bombers though?
Nice Gameplay Movie! Thx sir!

Its not fun to win the battle fast.
@@GamePlayShare That's the whole point, though...the more time taken means more losses. Win the battle as quick as you can and minimize your losses.

The campaign was always incomplete as japanese never won the war.
good video
Its wierd that Yamato in the Final mission is so clearly not Yamato
its a yamato class of ship I think?

It might be a Yamato class though. Specifically the Mushashi, since thats the only other one. But why not call it that then.
I am guessing for balance reason
a way better ending then what was in the american campaign in my opinion
Good game ;)
Way Japan four consecrated as mine
American kids command IJN and defeat USN. Devious rapscallions....
oh thats change everything
