Miss Jane Explained Baptism to Pender's Children

On Sunday, December 8, 2024, Pender United Methodist Church celebrated a beautiful and sacred moment as we welcomed an infant into the family of faith through baptism.
During the Good News for Children, Miss Jane shared a heartfelt and educational lesson with the children, using a picture book to explain the meaning of baptism.
The story included the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist, the Jordan River, the heavens opening, and God’s loving declaration: "This is my Son, whom I love, who makes me happy." (Matthew 3:17).
It was a joyful and meaningful experience for all, filled with love, learning, and the grace of God.
