Am having this same leak and I tried to take off the tap but I think it’s glued on like yours was, so I gave up. Glad I looked through your videos and found this. Now I know what to do. Thankyou 🙂
Great video once again....I have this exact thing to do this weekend and I've also picked up on how to fix the garden tap at the same property 👍 Awesome stuff!
Great video, thank you! Cistern one was also super helpful. The leaky valve I have has an extra section (sort of a right angle piece) that makes the tap run parallel to the wall instead of perpendicular. It's so old I'm thinking of replacing the valve rather than just replacing the washers. Anything extra to consider for this angled set up? Thank you!
Hey Bill Great video mate very handy. Do you know where i could buy the cover plates that go behind the shut off? Mines are missing and its one of them ‘get around to it one day jobs’ 🤗👍
awesome thanks mate, what is the chances that my toilet valve is leaking tonight and this video came up on recommended... what's the actual valve called? toilet shut off valve? I tried to google it on bunnings but couldn't see it
You didnt show the stuff up , You installed the wrong size valve , It should be 1/2" outlet what you installed was a 3/4" outlet so the easy hooker or (flex hose) wont screw on because it was a 1/2" female thread , Why didnt you clean the wall and the easy hooker or (flex hose)
Not sure why there are "thumbs down". Your videos are very helpful - easy to understand, clear and cover most important details. Keep going!
Thanks you 👍
Agreed! Very helpful, well done! Thumbs down probably from other tradies who don’t want us to understand 😂
Maybe they're plumbers who don't want you to fix it yourself 😂
totally agree !
