Would this work on the hardware of The gl version im trying to overclock a old pc to see its performance at best

I also have v4900 gpu and why in my msi software the core clock and memory clock values i can't change tho as it was 800 set that i can decrease but can't increase on both options applies

That's strange. If you're using MSI Afterburner, you may want to go into Properties and select the box labeled "Extend Official Overclocking Limits". Then restart your machine and see if it opens up a greater range of values.
