My launch ps3 plays all my ps1 and ps2 games so I think I will wait for analogue’s ps1. I have hundreds of games so I need something that plays physical discs first not with an add on.
There's noticeable lag on ps1 games on ps3, even a ps2 is more responsive for ps1 games., it comes from the emulation and Bluetooth controller. Plus those early ps3 systems are prone to failure and are expensive to repair. It is more convenient though for pairing with newer tvs
Does your launch PS3 play NES, SNES, Genesis, 32X, GB, GBA, C64, Amiga, Atari, Saturn, Jaguar and arcade games with no lag and pixel perfect accuracy? This does...
Party of the reason there isn't an FPGA PS1 is because it's ready enough to play PS1 discs on PS2 or PS3 (and then you get native HDMI). I think this limits the market for people who need a new PS1 option.
The ps1 is 🗑️ they need to remake the ps2. The ps2 was the superior console for a very long time. It also has a way better library collectively than just about any other console as a whole
That's not happening anytime soon. The board needed to make an FPGA PS2 costs like $10,000. It will take some years for the price to go down to something financially feasible. You're better off just buying a modded PS2.
The problem with this ....your wearing an Angeles hat😅😅😅 Just kidding here. I visited your shop and was a little bit disappointed. Makes some mad pixels t shirts or hats. I'm sure I can't be the only fan who wants some gear.
Ps1 was great but not because of sony, really. They had spyro, crash, crash team racing, gran turismo and twisted metal. All of these are good but they aren't the games one thinks of when ps1 comes to mind. That would normally be third party stuff like ff7, mgs or castlevania sotn. This isn't a relevant comment, just want to ruffle feathers.
Depends on the person if this is worth it i guess. For me personally. You can get a retroid pocket 4pro for less. And play up to ps2 and gamecube. And it's handheld. Yeah you gotta set it up. But retroid holds your hand through the process
When i discovered the upscale options on emulators, I was shocked. It was like the ultimate way to play the games. But now, years later, I have found, I just want the old school looks back. But it still would be cool to still have the options there.
BRO, this is most likely be cause I'm kinda drunk right now but I couldn't focus on your video because the shade of your glasses on your face looks like that eyeliner that the Emo kids used to use like tears running through their faces.
But yeah, the fpga for ps1 seems cool. I use the ISOs be cause my disc's died in a fire but using original controls and memory card would and getting an experience as close as the original sounds really nice

okay
Nothing beats those launch PS3's! Too bad father time is starting to catch up with 'em!
There's noticeable lag on ps1 games on ps3, even a ps2 is more responsive for ps1 games., it comes from the emulation and Bluetooth controller. Plus those early ps3 systems are prone to failure and are expensive to repair. It is more convenient though for pairing with newer tvs
This is an FPGA PS1 mate.
Does your launch PS3 play NES, SNES, Genesis, 32X, GB, GBA, C64, Amiga, Atari, Saturn, Jaguar and arcade games with no lag and pixel perfect accuracy? This does...
I much rather it be named
Mr. Cream-pi 🥧😉
Virgin energy
@Californiaexpat OK sport 👌
I call it Mr. Your Mom's vibe
Eh, is this really a big thing? We have seen so many of these emulators they have over flooded the market that it just doesnt feel "special" anymore.
Party of the reason there isn't an FPGA PS1 is because it's ready enough to play PS1 discs on PS2 or PS3 (and then you get native HDMI). I think this limits the market for people who need a new PS1 option.
The FPGA gaming industry? INDUSTRY?
If it was cheaper I would grab it. I stream so this would be great
It's reasonably priced for all the things it can do, perfectly emulating arcade games, computers, and all the game consoles (up to N64)
Im gonna pass on this one I have a Batocera Drive that can play PS1 just fine and also on the Steam Deck as well
The ps1 is 🗑️ they need to remake the ps2.
You are too impatient, you cannot walk without learning to crawl first, PS2 will be walking but the PS3 will be jogging tho 😂😂😂
The problem with this ....your wearing an Angeles hat😅😅😅 Just kidding here. I visited your shop and was a little bit disappointed. Makes some mad pixels t shirts or hats. I'm sure I can't be the only fan who wants some gear.
you're*
@SneakyGreninja thank you 😊
Ps1 was great but not because of sony, really.
Lol it's because of how well rounded both were that made the console so great!
thats funny
Depends on the person if this is worth it i guess. For me personally. You can get a retroid pocket 4pro for less. And play up to ps2 and gamecube. And it's handheld. Yeah you gotta set it up. But retroid holds your hand through the process
fpga is different from emulation...
@sephiroth-k8f exactly. That's why I said it depends on the person.
i just bout a Ryzen 7 mini pc with 16 gigs of ram and 512 gig hdd from amazon flash sale for $200 can imagine buying a pie for anywhere near that.
it’s sold out 😭
if it upscales, cool, otherwise ill stick to free emulation.
When i discovered the upscale options on emulators, I was shocked. It was like the ultimate way to play the games. But now, years later, I have found, I just want the old school looks back. But it still would be cool to still have the options there.
Always sold out
It's not on sale yet.
👍👍™️
Don't see the point if it can't play PS1 discs out of the box. Having to buy an adapter to play discs ain't it.
Whats the point of this? You know the guy only releases like 200 pieces and NEVER re-stocks again. BOOOO!
He could disrupt it a lot more if they were EVER in stock. At this rate the only people getting them is you guys. Ive been checking that website daily for a long ass time and they are sold out every day.
I suggest sending an email asking nicely for them to reserve 1 for you
