my customer experience couldn't have been better, I had a small defect in their hoodie and not only did they send me a new one but allowed me to keep the old one, very fast shipping for me, excellent quality, fit great and shipped from the US via UPS, maybe things have changed but because of my experience with customer service, quality of item and shipping speed they have a customer for life!
I am thinking that buying 4 or 5 fruit of the loom sweat pants and going to a seamstress to get belt loops added is about the same price as ONE pair of these, and in the end... do the exact same thing.
Genius! I've been spending money and lots of frustration & time trying to find the perfect belly band to wear with workout shorts. I work out 3 days each week and wear my workout shorts all day on those days. I also have a velcro adjustable sturdy gun belt like you showed here so I tried your suggestion of simply wearing the gun belt under my shorts and cinching it up and attaching my kydex holster to it. I tried my appendix carry holster and it worked like a charm. Neither the belt nor the holster moved during walking, sitting or drawing. I also tried my 3 o'clock double clip holster and ran through the same draw and reholstering drills multiple times. Worked like a charm. Printing was no more a problem than when I wear this combination with Levi's or other pants. I could adjust the tension of my belt to suit my own comfort. Wow! Who'd a thunk? Thanks for this great money-saving tip.
Great DIY solution - I will try that!!! I have a belly band but I don’t like how the firearm needs to be strapped in with the button. I don’t want to be fumbling with that in a stressful defense situation....
Dang, I had high hopes for these. Once you said made in china they lost me. There’s definitely a market for this kind of apparel, hope a USA made company hops on this.
Thanks for the video. I stopped in just to check out the sweatpants. Moving forward I purchased a pair of their 8”shorts and use them with my Tenicor Zero belt, I only have worn them about 4 times but so far no negatives. I carry a Glock 43x mos with a TLR-7sub in a Tenicor SL2 so the setup is far from small meaning with a light bearing holster. I purchased them just to try them and see what they are about, usually with basketball shorts or sweatpants I use my Enigma Express took off the leg strap and installed a metal clip now the shorts don’t slide over the holster.
I wish I would have seen this before ordering my husband a pair for his upcoming birthday this month. I just checked my tracking and like you said, they are coming from China😡. I pray they will arrive (and fit) by his birthday in two weeks.
in my honest opinion they are worth it. I have the shorts, joggers and sweater. the quality of the material is great, the style looks higher end than casual. the fit is true to size and not baggy. the belt could be better but your not forced to use theirs so can always get a different one. is the inner belt design revolutionary ? no. but if you want nice looking quality clothes that are firearm friendly its a go. I ordered on Saturday and received my stuff on Friday. this video is 3 years old so from my current experience things been pretty chill.
I have a NextBelt Gun belt. I simply put the belt on with my holster. Then pull my sweatpants up. The drawstring holds the sweats up. The belt holds my gun up.
Almost $100 for some sweatpants from China is crazy! And was on the fence about these for about a year. But I have made my mind up now. However hopefully they have made some changes since you made this video. Thanks for the info
Yeah, I was disappointed with my Arrowhead purchase too. Way over priced considering it takes weeks to deliver from China, and the "gun belt" is just a big piece of elastic with a buckle. For what they're charging you'd expect better and for it to be shipped from within America.
Hey Stephen - thanks for sharing this. I'm happy to say that we have since added an expedited shipping option that cuts delivery time down to 5 days. The entire Q4 was a shipping nightmare between COVID and the holidays, so we apologize for the delay you experienced. As I mentioned in a comment above, the retention belt we launched with was chosen to balance comfort and support. We're in the process of designing a new, more rigid gunbelt for more aggressive applications.
@@arrowheadtacticalapparel sweats with outer belt loop for keys. My dad is older and loves his keys on his side like a freaking janitor. Lol just add on me small loop outside to clip a set of keys to.
I just put a belt around my waist (such as a nylon military belt costs about 7 dollars) and use that. That way, the belt is independent of the pants, which has significant advantages.
Similar experience. I had no idea they came from China, found out during tracking. I do like the product, works well and very comfortable. I agree they are way too expensive (if it wasn't on sale I wouldn't have on price alone).
Man I had a similar experience with mine. I wish they offered simpler designs for the joggers instead of having all the patches and knee panels. And also the back pockets on my joggers are way too tight to fit my hand in for re loads.also the sizes are off and I thought they fit kind of weird. It’s almost like they’re either trying too hard or not enough when it comes to these.
@@overlandedc they aren’t making them they sell it on their webpage which is cheaper than getting it straight from unity tactical about 50% cheaper. They work well, I’ve used it several times wearing sweats and with basketball shorts. From being active to sitting down. Comfortable and doesn’t shift around like belly bands usually do. With the 70$
Crazy how I was just looking at these primarily for their hoodie though. Was thinking about their sweats after I saw them but came across this video while thinking on it. Definitely passing them up now.
Just want to throw this out here, I purchased the shorts without the belt and now I changed my mind so I want the belt and they sent it to me at a bundle price, so my personal experience with customer service has been great. I definitely agree they should disclose that they are from overseas I was kind of shocked when the email said coming from China but they got here in about 2 weeks, nice material though and very comfortable. Would I by another pair? Probably yes I would.
My wife purchased 2 pairs of the joggers and the seams are falling apart already. Both pairs have been worn less than a dozen times and only lounging around the house. I have not used these for CCW yet and I have not worked out in them yet. I contacted them for an exchange and no response. I understand the warranty period but seriously? I want no part of clothing obviously defective and the company doesn't stand behind them
Christ man. I saw a ad for these on facebook and they are expensive. So I decided to come find a video thats not from them showing off vehicles more then the product
Seeing this video 2 days to late ...just saw my shipping from mainland China...not to happy we will see how the shorts are ..high hopes have diminished.
I see well I won't be getting those knowing that they're made in China as well when I concealed carry I'll use a belly band holster if I'm wearing joggers
Thank You, I just became aware of this company and now I will not order anything from them. I was debating whether to pay the high asking price for a pair of gym shorts, as I live in Arizona and dressing for the hot weather and carrying my EDC can be problematic. For the most part I end up carrying my Ruger LCP II in 380 or my NAA 22lr revolver, both far from ideal. What really turned me off of this product was the cheapo belt that flexes compared to my rigger belts which can't be folded in half. You'd think for the price, they would have included a stiff gun belt with double or triple stitching. Thanks again for saving me the heart ache of dealing with these guys and their overpriced and substandard product. Just subscribed to your channel.
The arrow head belt doesn't need to be rigger belt stiff. The combination of the loop holes, micro adjustments of the belt, and flexibility of the belt allow the wearer to tighten the belt significantly and remain comfortable (belt forms to the body and doesn't dig into the waist). On their Instagram page the owner shows that the combination of these features allow him to carry a sig P320 xfive legion (duty size pistol) comfortably and controlled. Also some good examples of holster retention on their UA-cam channel.
