The story is an old slavic legend, the main character is a farmers son but one day manages to catch a wild horse/unicorn and the horse then gives birth to three horses. the wild horse in the story was suspected to be a devil destroying the farmers crops, and the horses were given to the boy as a bribe to release the wild horse.
But the true story is in Shahname and Ferdosi wrote it and a summary of this story is: Once a dad named I don't remember had a son named Zal But when Zal came to this world his hairs where all white. So dad thought it was a shame to have such son so he went to a big mountain and left his little son there and never came back Dad was sure that such small baby is going to die soon but a really big and beautiful bird called simorgh that was a combin of 30 birds ( si = 30 and morgh = bird ) saved Zal and keeped him with her children. So many years later when Zal grew up and became a man his father saw a dream about Zal. Dad knew it's a massage so he went to the mountain that he left his son many years ago and he saw his grew up son with Simorgh. He started crying and was sad about what he have done in the past so he picked his son and they went home. But before they leave Simorgh gave Zal 3 feathers.
