I remember when that tank was released and was the top dog of the russian tech tree. I feel like good players (not me lol) can make any tank work as long as the gun is decent. Therefore please play the 3 inch gun carrier.

T-10M is pretty good, with full set of ammo to choose from. BR 8.3 is ok-ish (much better than hellish 8.7). T-10A CAN be good, yet gaijin only gave it BR-471B/D, even if APDS/HEATFS for D-25 series are already in the game (SU-122-54).

APDS works like solid shot in WT...so it is great at penetrating armor, but not great at delivering post-penetration damage. I don't think Gaijin properly models the spalling for APDS/AP.
@scotttill3847 and with a reload that long at 8.3 you really want to make sure you kill him in the first shot. One of the reasons i didn't enjoy playing the american t-34 was it only had solid shot so sometimes you wouldn't get the kill and by the time you reload their crew is back up and they can either just drive off or kill you while reloading.
How in the world should this APHE have 300mm pen ? It's the same fcking 122mm shell , just a little faster . The normal 122mm D-25 had barely 150mm penetration at 1000m at 90° , adding 130m/s does'nt double the penetration . The T-10M in 1957 recieved APDS and HEAT , the APHE was still crap . There is so much BS going on in WT and nobody cares , but hey let's nerf German engines . But only for the Panther , Germany can't have a decent fast tank .

I dont think I've seen anyone ever use the APDS on the T10. Its always the aphe. Is the APDS that bad? Or the aphe just that good its not really neede

The reload is too long for apds since it’s post-pen damage is shit
15s reload APDS at 8.3 doesn't work.
