The information from the video was current at the time of filming. Thank you for sharing the updated figures.
@@ESLTeacher365 It says the video was posted 3 months ago. I signed up to the TTA in Dec and ended up getting a 2-month extension due to health problems interfering with my dedication to the course. Long story, but I got 8 months access to the materials.
And up until last week when I last week when I lost my access to the Level 5 course, it was true that you’re granted a total of 3 attempts for each assignment and the percentage to pass the end of unit quizzes was %70.
Thanks for the video though. Not hating, just merely trying to clarify to viewers.
Have you heard anything about the UNI-Prep Program? Is this a program you would recommend? Is it legitimate?
I’ve never heard of that. Is it for a TEFL course or teaching abroad in a specific place?
@@ESLTeacher365 It is for a TEFL course. A video from GOoverseas recommended the school and the program itself has a UA-cam channel. However, I have not really been able to find much outside information.
@@ESLTeacher365 I am considering PremierTEFL- I watched your video on them. It seems to be quicker (which I am looking for) and cheap. However, I am a visual learner and reap a lot from videos. Moreover, I could use some growth in the area of assessments. Would you recommend this program for someone like me?
I am a BBA, MBA geaduate, working as a school teacher.. I wanted to do the TEFL course, will it be worth it for me? (As I am not from a education graduate or literature graduate)
It all depends on where you want to teach. Each country has different requirements (passport, education, type of TEFL), so I would need to know a bit more to give you the best advice. You can fill out my survey listed in the video description so I can help you.
thanks a lot for your reply. I saw your survey and wanted to fill it up,but it asks for TEFL, I still haven’t got TEFL. I'm in a fix whether to do TEFL or not, as I am a business student (also TEFL is expensive, didn't want to spend money without being sure)and still hasn’t got the proper Institute (online) from where I can get the certificate.
Can you help me with these please?
I want to teach online and if possible offline as well(asian countries or any european countries)
I am from Bangladesh, so I am not a native speaker.
@@tjbbhuiyan928 my survey does not ask for TEFL. It asks IF you have a TEFL. Please fill it out so I can recommend a course for you.
Thanks , I have filled up the survey.
Hello, I am eagerly waiting for your reply of the survey I have filled up.
Hello, is this accredited?
Yes
How would you rate their Business English course? It sounds like a great deal to have this thrown for free with their `168 hour course, and most people end up paying extra for a course like this on top of the TEFL.
I haven't tested out the Business English course yet, just the basic level 3 and 5 courses.
How to know which one to take?
If you are a native speaker with a degree and some tutoring experience or only want to teach online, a level 3 is enough. If you don’t have a degree, experience or are a non-native speaker, I recommend a level 5.
Could you please send me some information on the level 5 TEFL course
You can click the link in the video description for all the info
Hello ma, i am not in usa now, I'm in the Philippines. Can i take the course online. Is it possible to finish it within 2 to 3 months? How will i get the certificate once im done.
Im planning to teach abroad,
This course can be done online. However, for non-native speakers I recommend CELTA or International TEFL Academy, not TTA.
@@ESLTeacher365I don't have 1500$(
Thanks for the information.
Thanks for the info.
You’re welcome!
Do you need a college degree in english along with a tefl certificate?
Most countries require a degree in any subject in order to apply for a visa. Some jobs in Latin America and Cambodia will not require a degree. If you are a non-native speaker, there may be specific requirements for your degree. It all depends on where you want to teach, your qualifications and passport.
@@ESLTeacher365 Im thinking poland, belarus, Uzbekistan, kyrgystan and russia. How do they verify your degree?
Edit: from United states
@@Floof_Factory For visas you usually need to send in a notarized copy of your degree.
@@ESLTeacher365 does it have to be notorized by anyone inpaticular? Like in the United States I can just contact the registrar of my college and go to a UPS store and use their notarization service easy. But do I need it to be notorized by someone in their country and translated?
@@Floof_Factory Yes. Here is a blog post that explains more: www.eslteacher365.com/teach-abroad-apostille/
I went through international TEFL Academy would you say those specializations will help me be more competitive when looking for a job?
The specialty courses?
@@ESLTeacher365 yes
Did you mean the specializations through The TEFL Academy?

Hello. I am a certified and licensed Nigerian science teacher. I have gone ahead to do a free 120hr online TEFL course and I have been searching and applying for teaching jobs(preferably English)abroad but to no avail. What’s your advice please?
Free TEFL courses are not accredited for teaching abroad. I recommend investing in a quality course with teaching practice since countries will consider you a non-native speaker. You might have more luck applying to international schools as a science teacher through agencies like ISS, Search Associates, etc.
@@ESLTeacher365 thank you but would you recommend AVSE TESOL teaching internship in Vietnam?
@@Edydora I haven't heard of that program before. I recommend looking at reviews and asking to speak with alumni or current teachers.
Hi there, im south african and have a Bcom degree (postgraduate) in HR..I would like to do my tefl with the tefl academy. Is this recommended as i want to teach in saudi arabia ? Will these qualifications get me a job and visa to teach there ?? Pls help
I really need a B.ed or B.A ,or Pgce or will any degree suffice? I'm a native English speaker
Saudi Arabia prefers to hire teachers with a master’s degree and you’ll have better luck with a teaching license/ BEd. And a course like CELTA
@@ESLTeacher365 are you referring to international schools or language schools?
@@ESLTeacher365 also can I get a teaching visa with just Any degree and a tefl in saudi?
@@CODENAME417 you'll need a license/BEd for international schools and a master's is often preferred for language schools.
I wish I watched this video before starting with TTA!
Why? It sounds like an easy course, and it's still recognized around the world.
@@steve9473 can you share your experience?
@@mirthacacho So far so good!!!! I am on the last assignment now. I would say overall the course is very passable. If you have any experience teaching , most of this will be review. For the amount of money that they are charging it really is a good bargain plus you get additional courses depending on what special they have.
