I like that you are making content on this. I’ve been messing with tinkercad for a couple of months. Seems that everyone finds the method that works for them and gets stuck in it. Seeing other ways is helpful. I’ve recently created some plates that are labeled with the common holes that I want to use. I labeled them with what tinkercad says the hole size is since some accuracy is lost in printing.
Yeah I have had a little bit of problems with this project in getting the hole sizes just right. I ended up printing 2-3mm thick rings to size it until it fit just right then printed the whole thing. Its fun to mess around with.
Thanks a bunch! I can tear apart vehicles/tractor and rebuild them. I can design and build a 24'x50' two story building. I can build a pc from the console up and install everything needed to keep it up n running, but software is most often one of the biggest pains in the butt to use and so thanks for the video. Hope you are going to do more of them... it was VERY nice that you know how to talk and instruct instead of just editing in stupid music over the original audio while you do the video, and you went slow enough that I didn't have to redundantly stop and replay the steps ... definitely a thumbs up!
ive found just waiting til the paper is gone and take it off the spring roller thing...there u go, a new cardboard tube, Use the 4 Rs..reduce reuse recycle.. REPURPOSE
This is by far the BEST tinkercad tutorial i have found to solve my questions. Thank you
thanks for the simple solution to the tapered tube!

Thanks, glad it was able to help. I plan on doing more as I get time to tinker with it more!
Just saved me a ton of time and I learned about alignment. Thanks!
Thanks for this! I really needed to make a taper tube
Helpful thank you!
With the second way I’m not able to control the wall thickness though
This was giving me such a f****** headache. Thank you for explaining. I don't even know how to do CAD. So I thought I was doing something wrong..
