That shoe looks amazing. It's like an Altra but with a heel tab, a bit of Drop and looks more modern. I'm really considering that shoe.
That's a nice looking shoe. I've never said that about a Topo shoe.

The crazy thing about this shoe is that most cameras can not capture its actual color. It looks mustard yellow in a lot of videos and pictures but its a neon green. I wonder if Thomas or Robbe watches this video and realizes that?

"Lighter, faster version of the Zephyr". Sold! I love the Zephyr, possibly my favourite shoe in rotation right now and I'm looking for something to race in that's not a pointy shoe. Altra too soft/zero drop I think for me on roads.
What's the verdict? I was looking at the Zephyr at one point but now thinking of Cyclone or even the Phantom 2
That dual tongue loop thing up near the top was dine by brooks like 10 years ago.
I’m excited to try this as an alternative to Atreyu base model (with a toe box shaped how I’d like more).
You asked who else uses the loops in lieu of gussets? Brooks does (at least) on their Ghost 10, 11, 12. Mins you, I think the idea is a good one regardless of who does/doesn’t use them.
You'll like this shoe. And totally forgot about the Ghost. It ghosted our memory.

Just got mine and tried them out ; I bought a 10 and. 10.5 ; I needed the 10 with a thin sock to avoid heel slip with the glove like upper approach they are taking . Agree with reviewers it is a great speed work shoe keeps me mid foot on my strike and just right padding. I am suspicious that longevity will be just so so. Quite a bit of Eva foam that historically I have found to go dead by 300 miles at most. .
This show looks so awesome! Love what Topo is doing lately. I recently got the Ultrafly 3 and I'm loving it. How would you compare the cushioning between the cyclone and the Ultrafly 3?
I think the ultra fly feels softer
those loopholes in the tongue are not new. I remember my Brooks Ghost 10 a few years ago, when gusseted tongue wasn't a thing back then. The Ghost 10 definitely had them. I remember because I love them.
Not the shoe! I never buy the Ghost again 'cause I just can't run in them. But those loopholes in the tongue were great.

Ah, second review that said they run big. I should have watched these before ordering. We shall see. But im in the womens, maybe that will be different.

Topo breaking all the rules
How would you compare this to the New Balance Rebel V2? Which one would you chose for a 10K?
The Topo is way firmer, with a more stable platform and better energy return than the Rebel 2. Weight is about the same. Size a half down for the Topo compared to the NB.
That PWURE logo is badly kerned. (graphic designers will know)
