See my post above I just picked up the flame red it’s the only one the dealer had and I wasn’t crazy about but I have fallen in love! I got the commuter package has the turn signals brake light LED head and tail lights are tremendous! These carts are brand new this year you don’t see many around and gets looks!

EZ-GO carts are the best. Built like a tank. Very sharp looking cart man. I still have two of them although I’ve had to look at different options over the past several years. They’re just too bumpy with the solid axle front and rear suspension. A lot of our use is on moderate wooded trails and something with independent suspension is so much better. Wish EZ-GO would come out with a model that had full independent suspension. Great video!

I service them for a living. I promise you they aren't. They are far and away the worst of the big three brands, something like 30% of all new Liberties were miswired on the line which damaged the charging system.

Nice Vid...nice job on everything too. I am planning on purchasing a Liberty LSV that just came out. It's a little bit different than your model. I was wondering how the ride felt on a golf course? (Do you play and if so how did the rack work?).

To be honest I don’t play golf but I have been with my friend and the cart handled well with no struggles and smooth ride but to be perfectly honest on harder terrain it’s not as comfortable because of the stiff suspension. As long as your on the turf though it’ll be great. I mainly have used mine for camp grounds.

Thank you so much for the comment. For me being 5.11” I am more than comfortable so I guess it would all depend on how far you would like to stretch your legs but I personally think it’s very spacious. I love my golf cart so I would definitely recommend. Hope this helps with your decision.

Thank you 🙏. All the products I have on the cart are under description here on the video. The speaker was mounted directly on to the roof by drilling holes on the ribs of the roof for more stability and strength with bolts going straight through.
how did you mount the soundbar? I just got the same one, and the hardware it comes with is useless since there's no crossbar in the back.
@@parker4955 I simply marked and drilled through the roof and bolted it directly to that. It never gave me any issues or ever came loose
Any issues with the height of the Liberty fitting in your garage? How tall is the cart in inches?

Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment. My golf cart meets all requirements to be registered as an LSV. Unfortunately here in VA where I’m at the DMV does not allow registration of golf carts for street use so it is not street legal. It is allowed in private communities and of course campgrounds so I’m good in that sense. If you get yours and would ever need some of the parts just let me know and I will send you all the links to help out. All my parts and accessories came from Amazon.
I have the same 2022 EZGO Liberty Elite and love it, but I want to add a solar panel.. Do you know if solar can be added?
I know that some people have added solar but I personally haven’t. I think the battery holds up pretty good….I have the double lithium pack…..and I only charge about once a week for what I do.
Sweet looking cart man! I think Ive found my next set of tires! What kind of tires are they? Mine are LOUD when I am running fast (35-40mph) and I want something smoother and quiet for my next tires.
Thank you. The tires are paramount MT and SPDR RIMS. I’ve never had issues and they are pretty quiet and smooth. I recommend them for sure.
Jay, Love your channeland the video of the Liberty. Hey, what brackets are you using for your whip antennas? I just purchased a Liberty and want to put some whips on it.

Hello Jay, great video. I just purchased my liberty and ordered the 12” led light for the front. Were you able to install the light bar with the holes in brush guard or did you have to fabricate a little?
Thank you 🙏. So for the LED light bar I actually did a little fabrication because I didn’t want to put it on the top flat part but instead underneath on the bar itself. I have my light on clamps on the bar itself but depending on which light bar you bought you can really put it anywhere because there’s so many options.

The other option would be to drill and mount to the flat part on top but again I liked the bar mounts better.

Where did you get the bulbs for the 2 front lights? Do they come prewired and are they hard to put in?
As far as the lights, it came standard on the golf carts…..the marker light bulbs did not but the dealer gave them to me.

best review on this cart so far...how do you make it go faster? Mine only goes 20 max. I heard it's just a minor adjustment but do you have any idea. I just purchased the exact same one.
Your dealer can connect a programmer and allow more options that are locked in the cart. Contact your dealer and ask them about allowing the max speed of 25 mph as well as activating the display lights and more.
One more question. Does having the dealer speed up the cart to 25 void the warranty? I got the same light bar you have also and will have them install it. Do they need the converter? how long did it take you to install it? Does it have it's own switch to turn it on or do they go on when the headlights get turned on. BTW I got seat covers from Amazon that are amazing.
@@barbaragramigni4088 the cart has its own converter because the components run off of 12v such as the lights but a second converter is recommended so that you may have access to it incase you need to change out a fuse or something. As far as the warranty goes it should not void the warranty because the cart comes already preprogrammed to run at that speed from factory and there only unlocking that feature at the dealership.

TY for your EZGO review...NICE. I have a Tomberlin programmed to a top speed of 33 mph. Could you have your EZGO tweeked to 33?
I had mine up’d to 25 but I think that’s good for me. Anything over that on this cart gets a bit rough and it’s hard to enjoy the ride but my buddy had his tipped out at 38 and it’s pretty fast.
@@FindingJay TY, Jay. Several have their Tomberlin's running as high as 45 mph, voiding warranty. I went to 33 on mine only increasing motor temp by 1°. When you get a chance, please ask your buddy how he was able to get his tweeked above 25. My dealer won't do it because to make street legal he's running thru FL DMV and getting tagged and titled as a LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) which are limited to top.speed
of 25 mph.

Hey Jay I purchased the turn signal kit that you have and took cart to my dealer. He said it wouldn’t work and that there were no bulbs in the amber reflectors up front?
They do work ….hes definitely wrong but as far as the bulbs go you have to get the insert plug for the running lights. You can also purchase the side view mirrors with build in marker lights also. The bulb inserts are pretty universal but the dealer should have them. My dealer gave me some for free

We just bought a 2022 Liberty elite it came with a 2.2 lithium battery but when I looked up the specs on it looks like it’s supposed to be a 4.2 do you know if that is standard?
Yes, the 4.2 is the double lithium batteries and the 2,2 is the single. There the same power at the end of the day but the double lithium will last longer.
Great color ! What is all that coiled up wiring under the seat for ?? Is that stock or the result of some mods?
The coiled up wiring is the left over wiring from the under glow lights. Because of the limited space all the cables and boxes for all the mods has to be left under the front seat to keep it from showing.

I'm looking to get one of these for my neighborhood...how much extra did your dealer charge to speed it up to 25mph and what's the max speed can it go? I wanna at least get 30mph
The dealer has the ability to bring it up to 25. And shouldn’t charge you. All it is, is the plugging in a hand held and unlocking the speed. Anything above that would require some upgrades such as battery. Honestly 25 is pretty fast on the us golf cart and feels even faster because it’s instant power. Hope I was able to help. Any chance you have videos on the installs of the voltage reducer etc? I have a 2018 Ezgo txt elite Samsung lithium, I bought the battery opperated EcoXgear but it had a blown speaker so i returned it and now all thats available is the hardwired one
I’m sorry I don’t but here’s a link to the reducer below. On the Amazon page it also shows a connection diagram and it is super simple. I connected it to the lithium battery on one side and to a fuse box on the other. From the fuse box I connect all my 12v devices. Hope this helps.

Just got my Liberty this week. What light bar did you go for? And is the 48v to 12v reducer really okay on the higher voltage battery?

Fantastic review - I just received my Liberty last weekend and love the ocean gray color. Question for you - where did you purchase the LED bulbs for the front blinker lights? Have you installed them yet? Again, great review and was incredibly helpful in my decision making to purchase a Liberty!

The stereo is the one thing that is after market not part of the manufacturer so there’s no telling who they went with at the dealer. You might be able to ask them which one they install and look it up on UA-cam

Honestly I used its own brackets that came in the box for tube mounting. I just used half the clamp and drilled through the roof and tightened with some larger washers for better strength.
Can you please tell me where the serial number and manufacturers numbers are and if the MF number indicates the model year?
The serial number and manufacturer's number for these EZGO golf cart models can be found on a plate located under the glove box on the passenger's side of the vehicle. The serial number is either six or seven numbers and does not indicate the model year.
We just purchased the 2022 Liberty last month and I am a little taken back with the price compared to the options on this cart. First, lets talk about the Stickers that are placed with the words "Elite" and "Liberty" these stickers came off on day 1. Too much money paid for stickers. The pedal seems to be very close and puts your foot in a upward position while driving, also does a slight start & stop motion while keeping the foot on the pedal (maybe this needs to be broken in?) The top seems very flimsy and cheep. NO cup holders in the back at all. If you are trying to put the key in at night, good luck bc there is no light until you turn it on and you cant see to turn it on. No speakers with the cart, again for the price this should have come with the basic speakers/nav....Overall comfort is a A+ and love the design but they need to work on a few things... Battery was a major reason for purchasing.
I agree with on all but usually with these type of purchases after market add ons might help a bit with some of theses things. I did leave some links in this video that might help but again your right…..they are definitely over priced for what you get.

I don’t think I would try not sure if it could but wouldn’t think so. I wouldn’t want to put this much weight on the cart.
So I just bought a brand new liberty after watching ur vid. I just wish it went faster than the 20mph. Any tips on making it go faster or did u just keep urs at 20mph?
I am happy that you’ve decided on this golf cart, congratulations……I love mine. You can tell the dealer to bring the speed to 25. It’s fairly simple and only they can do it with there hand held computer. They can also activate the gauge to light up as well. Hope this helps.

What type of speaker do you have at the rear of your cart and is it installed on that rear bar or to the roof it self? I'm also noticing a slight buzzing coming from my cart after I initially turn it off. Is that normal. Great video, nice cart
@@michaelwordly3665 the buzzing/ whistling is part of the shut down system and will go away after a few minutes. The speaker is the Ecoxgear SE26 (I believe) and an amazing speaker. You can go to my speaker review video to check it out and I believe I did mount it to the roof with small bolts but super easy and super sturdy. You should definitely check it out. I love the speaker for sure.
I got a liberty 2023 and it didn't come with a windshield do you know where I can find one?
You should be able to just on there website and order one. When I built mine that’s where I got mine. If not there should be something on eBay if nothing else.
I just picked up a liberty and flame red got the commuter package black interior! I’m not crazy about the reverse beep I go out late and don’t want to wake up my neighbors! What do you think?
I had to get used to the beep but i don’t think it’s loud enough to really bother anyone. Have fun and enjoy
Go to a dealer and ask to turn it off with their handheld..Dont let them say they cant
You can also unplug it yourself. Just have to find it under the front cowl.
How long does it take to charge from zero to full charge?
I actually don’t have this cart since I sold my large toy hauler and couldn’t fit but it had a rapid charger so the set up would get me full on the twin battery pack at about and hour if I remember correctly.
How does this do climbing big hills on roads
Absolutely no delay or struggles but keep in my that this unit the double lithium battery package so it has a bit more power
Can you tell me what the dealer did to increase the speed to 25 mph? The dealer here is not aware of how to get it to go faster than 19.5 mph. Thanks
Not sure if I can mention there name here without there consent but I myself called the manufacturer to find out how and it was fairly simple but the dealer is the only one that can do it. They have to plug the hand held computer into it and go into setting and follow the prompts for speed adjustment. I explained this to my dealer and they were able to do it with no problems.

I learned you can wire to a factory 12V step down behind the dash panel. And then run it to your accessory fuse box. It’s nice that it runs off the key power so no risk of drain when the system is off.
@@JoeClarke6819 yea good idea. I found that regardless it kills complete power so even if I leave a switch on it will shut down after 5 minutes

It all depends on which battery you go with but on dual pack lithium I would get 40+ miles

Did you have to modify your original wheel studs? I purchased these exact ones and noticed the studs from the cart still hit the back of the rim. Also thanks for the quick reply. I have the same cart but with the gray seats.
@@mikeklosicki7864 these were plug and play with zero mods and fit was perfect. The only issue I found was when hitting a hard turn at high speeds and going over a bump I would rub on a turn but even that is super rare.
Is there front suspension?
Both the front and rear are straight shaft with center suspension

I’m in the process of moving so I cannot give you exact measurements but it does fit in the garage with zero issues and room to spare.
