    Just finished this hat and I'm so pleased. I used some DK (4.5mm hook) that I had floating about so I used the adult size pattern but I think if I'd used Aran wool the smaller one would fit.

    This is really lovely Briana! I’ve been crocheting for years and have never heard of this split single crochet stitch! I’m very excited to have learned something new! I’ve only done Fair Isle and stranded colorwork in knitting, although I have done Tapestry crochet so maybe that counts, lol. Thank you for a great tutorial with very clear instructions! I love charts too! Beautiful nails by the way. I love the design! Thanks again!🤗🤗🌸🌺

    Following the free written pattern on the website with reference to the video. Round 13 was 2 stitches short to meet the end and now I’m seeing round 14 the spaces are even more off so I can’t follow the repeat around if I want color B to line up properly. I’m super frustrated.

    beautiful pattern. I am trying to learn this but the stitches are always off...It always ended up some extra stitches. that I don't want after each round. I'm still new to making round crochet. Can anyone help?

      Stitch markers help, but actually counting your stitches as you go helps SOOOOO MUCH MORE IMO

    I forgot to put the stitch marker in and I have lost my place I am around row 23 adult size 72 stitches. Any tips on how to get back on track.

      No tips on how to find that place but for next time, place 2 markers ...one you leave insitu when you first start and the other is the one you move...so that if you lose or forget to put in the marker, you can follow the stitch line up from the other one. I have done what you did and it is so difficult to find the start. Good luck..

    I dont get why in the images its an adult hat when the tutorial in fact its for a baby hat

    • @BrianaK
      @BrianaK  Рік тому

      I chose one of the sizes listed in the pattern for the video. It's faster for me to work up the baby size on camera. All of the sizes are available on this blog post: brianakdesigns.com/crochet-hat-pine-free-pattern-cozy-warm/

    I’m so glad you made this video. In the pattern it doesn’t say when to use the 5mm or the 4 mm hook. I adore the ssc and love that you have patterns my young adults will wear ❤️❤️
