Thank you for making this how-to video. Love the look! I used to make bead covers for ornaments but my eyesight is no longer up to it. This is a very rich design.
So I bought the instructions since I have a smaller ornament and unless I’m reading it wrong, it doesn’t say on there to do two rows of back loop stitches only after doing two puffs. By the time i was done it didn’t look like this. 😢 Please correct me if I’m wrong. Pretty sad on all the time it took me since I’m a beginner.
@@emmamckiel9666 I ended up only needing 7 double sections of bobble stitches instead of 8 for mine. I think it’s because I used Big Twist which may be slightly thicker even though it’s also worsted weight; it could also be that my tension is looser than hers. I have the exact same crochet hooks, so I know it isn’t that. Maybe try removing a bobble section and see if that decreases the amount of bulk overall. If not maybe you need fewer than 20 chain stitches at the start and would have to begin again.
@emmamckiel9666 I had the same problem, but I sewed it like she did the top and cinched it together and I'm gonna tie some additional yarn around the cinch and have it hang with some cute beads or charms to spruce it up.
I personally did regular single crochet through both loops, but you could do BLO. I don’t think it would matter too much either way as those stitches get covered by the puffs.
I love this pattern. So many applications possible. Thank you!

My piece is too long at the bottom for my bobble. Is there a way to fix this or do I need to start over?

Are you only doing the first two and last 2 Back Loop only or all of them
The first row of the single crochet in between the puff stitches: is it BLO too?
I personally did regular single crochet through both loops, but you could do BLO. I don’t think it would matter too much either way as those stitches get covered by the puffs.
