Wow, the road becomes so rough now. Those that say shaking can mute the video, much smoother, i think there are noise coming from the camera mounting or some loose items. I have to check my video speed twice to confirm I didnt put the video speed at 1.25. Mind you when Uncle overtook the mustang, he is doing 150-160, wet road somemore. So this camry is really something for uncle to have such confident. Great work as always, uncle YS!

The new Camrys double wishbone is no match for an ordinary multi link on a civic. But credits to your superb driving skills as well. If only you had a back camera. I think each car has its own appeal. Those who lean towards performance would go for the turbo, while those who want netter creature comfort and a comfortable ride woud go for the NA.

back to the car , my own feel like new camry more road grip and rigid chasis but the nvh incresed, the comfort level down abit by watching in this video when passing uneven road. Engine respond was good see uncle can pull up near red line very fast.👍👍👍
Suspension set up is same, and ride is good. The road has gotten a bit rougher after the landslide damage, and a lot of heavy machinery went on it. The car is really good, take it from me. Or perhaps I need new equipment.
Can you do a Genting Highland climb and downhill run in the Mazda CX8(2.2 Diesel version)? \ Just to see how good the torque the Mazda do climbing up and how well it slows down the car Would be great to see that

Yep, 8 speeds but the gearing is very long. As you can see uncle was only using 2nd & 3rd gear for almost the entire run. One of the many downsides of this transmission
I saw you were driving this car harder than the Civic RS .. I think both cars have similar power to weight ratio.. but the weather was not good perhaps (wet road) .. the toyota engine revs up noisier than Civic .. suprisingly... Dynamic Force engine is still a NA right? any light supercharger bolted?

This time around look a little bit busy in the cabin 😅 however still a great drive Mr YSK.
Road very wet after 4 minutes of driving, so need to use brakes, steering and throttle combunation a lot more.
Mr Khong, you should put YS khong sticker on your car, so other car see will automatically give way haha.
Then it needs to be laterally inverted and across the front screen.

While the engine power is up,the gear ratio although 8 speed,its ratio looks bad,really made for comfort it seems....
This is not a performance car. This is a premium comfort car.
