【英國侏羅紀海岸 Dorset UK Travel in 1 min】Day 1 - Fossil hunting in Lyme Regis

Dorset is located in the South West of England and is best known for the Jurassic Coast.
One of the best places to dig for fossils is Lyme Regis, which has geological deposits of about 2.5 to 65 million years.
On the first day, we signed up for a fossil tour and went with a palaeontologist to dig for fossils, which is not so much a dig as an execution. There are a lot of fossils along the coast, and with good eyesight and luck, we were able to find some.
However, after the experience, I still think buying fossils in souvenir stores is more economical. The fossils here are not too valuable, and a fossilised shark tooth is only 1 pound, you can donate a little money to draw fossils!
We went to a beach restaurant in the evening for a seafood dinner. The blue lobster and scallops here were freshly caught in the sea, sweet and delicious.

Dorset （多塞特郡）位於英格蘭西南部，最著名的是侏羅紀海岸(Jurassic Coast)。
其中Lyme Regis是掘化石的好地方，那一帶的地質蘊藏約250至6500萬年。
第一天我們報了化石團，跟古生物學博士去掘化石，與其是掘，不如是執。這海岸的化石非常多，只要好眼力加上幸運，我們也可以執到化石。
不過體驗過後，還是覺得在紀念品店買化石紀念才划算，這裡的萬年化石也不太值錢，一顆鯊魚化石牙扭蛋只是1鎊，也可以捐少少錢抽化石呢！
晚上，我們到海灘餐廳吃了一頓豐富海鮮餐，這裡的藍龍蝦及帶子也是海裡新鮮捉的，鮮甜美味。
