- Is it ironic, impossible, or simply irresponsible that a motorist got a traffic ticket on the first day as a traffic reporter? Judge Frank Caprio #CaughtInProvidence #JudgeCaprio

He's a genuinely great human being and the world needs more judge Caprios
100%
Its easy when its just traffic violations, and low level crimes. No moral and societal arguments
@@RyanMiller-ej8ri That's true, but at least he's sees people as people and not a number.
Nah, you do the crime you do the time im sorry
Yeah let's base punishment on how much you like a perp...
Such an american thing to see this as justice lol.
This girl has a gift to make people smile. The judge loved her
Some people are just really good at talking. Also don't forget she's an actress.
it's called being blond, pretty, charismatic and caucasian :P
helps that she wasn't any kind of a karen.. she owned her faults and had a sense of humor about it. made me smile
@@Xfade81 It doesn´t matter if someone is an actress or not. Look at Amber Heard :-D
@@frama7844 They said actress.
You can tell she charms her way through life.
good looks can take a long way if you know how to use it
Rightfully so …
I Good luck and charm my way thru so much stuff, omg
I won't mind paying her fine. No strings attached. i am almost 79 but was a reporter back in the 80s and 90s. Love her spirit
I think what she said about the court, she really meant it. As a viewer thousands of miles away, I feel the same. Hats off Sir.
Well, I didn't feel it. She tried to lower her fine by faking friendlyness, but no, didn't work.
@@ronaldderooij1774 I mean I think it did, she didn’t get anything for the no parking zone violations.
All tooo Rarely in life do you meet a Soul like Judge Caprio.
Without a doubt, the world Needs many more like him....
Judge Caprio loves to help people and to give them a fair shake. He's the utmost professional. Unlike Chanel 6 which had a major accident outside their office and didn't report it on tv.
That's like here in Orlando there was a real bad wreck right up the street (Shader Rd and John Young Parkway) from WKMG News 6 Orlando & Cox Media Group, and they didn't cover one lick of it.
This isn't about Channel 6. You're probably in the wrong forum.
@@lighthouse3879 she’s an employee of the station
Does he or does he love to make millions of dollars from making videos of himself helping people because he knows he can profit from it?
She’s a natural stunner with great communication skills ❤️👍
Can't stop watching judge Caprio. Man is a saint, we all need more people like him in this world.
She’s almost certainly lovely, but she’s also experienced at her persona in front of camera, knows how she comes across, and leans in to it.
You sound desperate
Wouldn't you?
MAYBE she is lovely(she is a reporter/actress)-but she was trying to evade getting fined, but working for media didn't help any as if she got off then it may set a practice and lead to a corrupt legal system, where "who you are" affects your violations/fines.
@@hotbot4219 🤦🏽♂️
She didn't fool the judge.
Both of them... charisma and humor. He treated her like his own grand daughter, and she was so respectful.
She played her role like a natural 😂
"I get to be on TV"!!! She'll make a great journalist when great journalism is needed now more than ever.
Judge is absolutely human and understanding, he would rather help than just judge🙌🙌🙌
I think she was already judged by the video tape 😁
Actually he’d rather make millions from posting videos like this because he knows people will eat it up.
*God bless you Judge Caprio🙏 ❤watching from Indonesia🇲🇨*
Me too, mas Agung. I wish that we had at least one judge on our traffic courts with the patience, kindness, and grace of Judge Caprio.
@@ariprabowo85 *yes, I wish in Indonesia have judge like Judge Caprio🙏*
Love her smile and attitude. This judge is the best.
Like the judge that girl would brighten up any room, with her lovely smile and personality!!!!!
she'd brighten up my bedroom
@@Karl-gx7rz Damn right lol
Judge Caprio is just like an angel heavenly sent, I just wish I can meet him and shake his hands.. Judge Caprio God bless you.
He is so uplifting to watch in a world without hope for a lot of people.
You are right, surely God bless him with more years.
@@peterjustin8477 God has blessed us with a human being so kindly.
What about it is heavenly? 😂. He intentionally keeps recreating the same content over and over because he’s making millions of dollars off social media. He’s intentionally making predetermined decisions so he can have content to profit off of. That’s not heavenly lol
Awe, another great video from Judge Caprio. 💕 this guy.
She is a charmer …and quick & witty and not to mention very easy on the eyes… hard to condemn her
Easy to condemn her, she has played her looks and charm all her life, she expects a free ride, I reminding her, that as a traffic reporter. She has first hand knowledge of the dangers of running lights!
@@billh.1940 It’s a fact of life that has not been changed. Some people with certain attributes get away with some things whiles others do not. I do not like it but “it is what it is”. Being bitter about it only ruins your day … not theirs.
What A lovely Lady Such A Fair And Wonderful Judge Love From Ireland 🇮🇪
hard not to watch this and not smile
What a beautiful gal, a real stunner! She has a great personality as well!
I met one judge like him in Las Vegas. My next couple of encounters they were horrible to people, no matter how insignficant the issue.
He's a judge. But I believe him to be a good man. The kind of guy you like to have it for next door neighbor
doesn't hurt that she's gorgeous
The car in front of her went through the red light as well… she likely followed suit out of going with the flow. Doesn’t justify lack of paying attention to the traffic signal, but easy to see how can occur.
a similar thing happened to my brother once, a bus drove through a green light and my brother followed the bus and the light changed on him and my brother got busted for it as a police car was nearby
Going with the flow might be justifiable when one gets nabbed for a speeding violation in traffic, but every driver needs to be aware of their surroundings, and paying attention to lights/signage/etc.
Running a red light, at least in this case, is not justifiable. She simply wasn’t paying attention.
$85 for a red light?? In Tucson, AZ running a stop sign or a red light carries a fine of approximately $250
Same here in Florida.
Florida's motto is "Come on vacation, Leave on Probation, Come back on Violation"
Many do not pay that thanks to their stories I be happy if they got a safety video
0.98$ appx here in Pakistan for bikes and 2$ for Cars
You all live in POLICE STATES. AZ the cops think (and for the most part indeed) they are untouchable. Same for Florida. Two very often Red States.
Here in New York City, the red light camera ticket and the speed camera tickets are $50 each and go against the registered owner of the vehicle. Now, if a police officer actually issues the citation, then VTL 1110a and VTL 1111(d)-1 come into play and you personally end up with points and fines and surcharges and jail (yeah, it's in the law).
God bless judge Caprio and inspector Carrighan ❤️
damn with all that charisma she probably could get away from a bank robbery
I think we should track her down and have her try Robbing the Bank!
(LOL - Kidding!)
I wish the judge to have a long life and share his love for humanity.
Frank is the kindest judge I've ever seen
Regardless he shouldn't be letting people off that deliberately disobey red lights. This can get people killed yet this was made into some sort of joke.
I aggree 100% just mean him as a fair man in other cases I've watched
@@DEVILTAZ35 judge knew she broke the rule. reporter knew she broke the rule. hence, judge said she still has to pay the full fine
She's playing life on easy mode. Not even mad. Shes just too cute to get mad at.
That was cheap, we pay 270$ and get one strike that lasts 3 years.
3 strikes and you are out.
That was barely enough to pay for the time used to fill in a report and pay a judge.
Fines and court fees aren't the same thing. She might have a court fee attached, but he doesn't decide that part, he decides the fine (penalty) for the violation.
Lars, you failed to mention where you are from, to have to pay $270.
@@samwinchester7844 He is 99.9% surely from Denmark. The fine for running a red light is 2000 Danish Crowns (about 274 USD), and a mark to your license.
Beauuuuuuuuutttiiiifffuuulll !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The piano at the end really be slappin though
Justice done AND... this is probably great for her reel. Add some sound effects of a massive gavel coming down and some cash register sounds, a get out of jail free graphic and its ready for TMZ or Inside Edition.
Dude, i'm going to his city to get a ticket just so I can hang out with him. I swear, I idolize this man.
@@c.johnweir182 He'll be on the edited bits they put up on YT, but it is not a show, it is a real courtroom, real cases and those appearing before the judge are not paid to appear nor are their cases scripted.
@@c.johnweir182 The judge himself has objected to the term 'show' many a time in a number of YT posted clips (because US TV is full of 'court' shows, and his is not one of them), hence my response to you. My Captain in the Army was named Caprio. My unit walked 86 miles in 4 days. Captain Caprio walked every mile with his men. Good CO!
Yeah, in my day we ate apples with worms and we loved it.
Falmouth to Providence, that was some dedicated travel time.
The "BOOK" and throwing it at her springs to mind!
Charming, beautiful....great judge.
Stop At The Red Light !
85 dollars is like 2000s rate. In Canada (I'm guessing) that would be 200-400 dollars.
This was quite humorous... 🤣
Her "how are you?" so cute!
Everyone comments how she is charming, but here’s why, she has some humility. A rarity these days, especially when you have to deal with people breaking the law consistently, this must be a nice break from the whiners and complainers for the judge. She’s not in the best situation appearing in court but she can laugh at herself. When she was expected to pay the fine, she GRACEFULLY accepted the consequences. Some might accuse her of cozying her way out but the fact that she didn’t hesitant to take responsibility for her actions, it shows she does have a warm personality and it wasn’t for show to get her way out of a ticket.
This Judge was very gracious with her.
She was awesome! She seems to have a great personality.
Yes, she was, however she didn't get to " butter up" Judge Caprio out of the fine
@@dorothycarty3554, haha. Yes, however She knew she was wrong and she “righted the wrong”. I think it was fantastic.
She got out of the 3 parking tickets. So was worth fronting up.
if she'd collided with and killed a cyclist with her irresponsible red light jumping, would you still think she's "awesome"?
@@Matthew-bu7fg, is that a serious question? Of course not, however if she had collided and killed someone the would be in a different court. Not on a UA-cam channel for entertainment purposes. Lighten up sir.
Good one ☝️
Thank God they didn't put her on crime reporting. With her being a method actor and all.
This one is gold.
Bless them both
He is a fantastic Judge...should be on a national network
He is.
That is what you call trading places, from being a reporter to being the actual report. She is also very attractive.
Cutest reporter girl I have ever seen. lol. She was sweet. Glad she got off lightly.
0:21: "Coincidentally I do traffic reporting"......that would be irony, not coincidence.
It would be ironic if she were a traffic enforcer, I.e. a cop. Coincidence is correct.
@@rapid13 It's ironic because you wouldn't expect someone whose job it is to cover traffic and sees the result of bad driving decisions to make one herself.
A coincidence is when things happen at the same time. This is an example of irony, not coincidence.
@@DanielFrost21 There is no expectation that a _reporter_ with a degree in theater would have specialized knowledge of traffic law, say like a cop whose job is to enforce that law would. There is nothing inherently ironic in a traffic reporter getting a traffic ticket. Irony would be a traffic reporter stuck in traffic. Thanks for playing, have a good Sunday.
@@rapid13 Knowledge of specific traffic laws is not the issue here. Rather that she is observing traffic everyday and would witness traffic violations or at least see the aftermath of such. It would heighten ones awareness of the need to be careful in traffic.
This is irony, not coincidence.
@@DanielFrost21 Specialized knowledge of and a responsibility for enforcing traffic laws are the _only_ issue. Literally anyone who commutes witnesses traffic violations and much of their aftermath every day. She’s looking at a traffic map (really a green screen) in a studio and telling you where the traffic is, where the delays are, which alternate routes to take.
Nothing here is ironic.
You are hereby sentenced to another month without the coveted Employee of the Month parking spot.
She didn't only want to report the news, she wanted to be the news. 🙂
LOVE this judge
She owned it
Exactly
$80 fine for going through red light? I got a $350 fine for driving in a car pool lane. Justice is never fair.
true....running red lights and stop signs should cost those knuckleheads that do it 1500-2000 buck . Putting real bite back into motor vehicle moving violations will go a long way towards stopping people bad driving habits. Will the 80 bucks change blondies driving habits ?? I doubt it.
You probably aren't a good looking blonde woman with a bubbly personality.
no such thing as justice or fair in this world.
Did you try flirting with the judge?
Only children think that the world should be fair
$85 for running a red light! Parking tickets here are $85!
The world need more judge like this wise men . Jjil
Use it if you got it!
That was fair and kind, and I bet he won't be as lenient if it happens again.
What a nice woman!!
She KNOWS THAT corner. She INTENTIONALLY went through the red light so she can be ticketed and appear at Judge Caprio's court and have the CHANCE to INTERVIEW him. 😅😊😂
$85 for a red light violation, in Australia not wearing a seatbelt is a $1k fine
This is how America has the best drivers. 😂
What a beautiful young lady who also knows how to conduct herself in court by referring to the judge as "Your honour". Oh! and Judge Caprio was his usual great self.
Give me a break 🙄

She's buttering him up!!!!
Driving through red light is such a life-threatening thing. Should never be ignored. This was nice. Screw the parking crap.
Due to the cars in front going through the red light it gave a confusing situation and been the last car almost went through.
She’s got a gift of “charm”
Dam, all the butter sweetness talk and ends up with a fine. Just mail it in guilty.
She got out of the 3 parking tickets. So worth fronting up. They are like $30 each.
I wish we have these judge in Texas houston the 2 major county
The lady's a darling.. atleast from what we all 've seen in here. :)
No traffic school or anything? Isn't that a moving violation? I got a ticket for 'using my mobile phone not hands free', and it was nearly $100 more than that with all the court fees
I don't see a courtroom has many laughter like this one for traffic violation that is.
This entire channel makes me want to move to RI.
I’m not saying I googled her, but 🔥
Cheapest red light fine I've heard of ever.
Hi Sir good morning
What a smile!
I went to a traffic court in California today, thinking this is how its gonna go everywhere. Rookie mistake.
at least she had her blinker on
Love her voice :)
But $85 for a red light? It's 3 times more here (while we earn at least 3 times less). Also, you have to go to court for 3 parking tickets and a red light? Why? Such a waste of time and resources. You ran the red light? Yes, here's a photo of it via mail, pay your fine, end of story. Why do you need to go to court for that???
I'm surprised Frank didn't immediately put out the idea that he does this for TV fame. Because I doubt he would ever want people to think that idea. Or he just doesn't care.
I'm sure at his age he _doesn't_ care. I call this "easing into retirement."
The judge was compassionate and not vindictive but was just doing his job. No matter how attractive she was and charismatic, she still deserved the fine. I commend her for not wearing something provocative in the hopes of gaining sympathy from an older judge.
I'm sure she's thrilled that you approve of her attire
While I appreciate the gentle way the judge handled it. I think he could have been a bit more informative in his concern for her safety. Running a red light is incredibly dangerous to her as well as others. Too many young lives are cut short or irreparably ruined/changed because of an innocent mistake like that. This time she is very lucky. Next time...
I agree that one wasn’t close. He did give her a break on the parking tickets
Wow...wow🥰 she's pretty!
YOU BE THE JUDGE
Judge Caprio reminds me of part of the rat pack! I absolutely love him!
if i was the judge i'd give her 10 tickets not just one.
Nice girl with loving heart, I bet Judge Caprio would love to have her as sister in Traffic Law to his son's happiness
I loved her so much
No discount given, so unlucky for the girl
$85! That's so cheap. Here in california my buddy just got hit with a $500 ticket for a red light violation.
Sometimes bosses push so much that mistakes are made for the sake of getting there first and getting that story...
Charming girl.
Wow never saw him give full fine before damn
