Chef Keith’s exciting take on Indian cuisine uses his passion for the spices and flavors of the Indian subcontinent with fresh, seasonal ingredients from New England farms to create a dining experience like no other.
Years ago, he dipped a charred piece of bread into a rich gravy that soaked each crumb like a sponge. He raised it to his mouth and closed his eyes, and that is where his journey began.
Chef Keith is a three-time author, restauranteur, and public speaker who grew up in a small city in New Hampshire in the United States. Growing up in kitchens, he learned how to cook from many amazing western chefs. Each chef would impart the knowledge passed down to them by their mentors. It wasn’t until much later in life that he would try his first bite of Indian food. He began learning under an Indian home cook and went on to study with food archeologists and historians from across India.
Keith is the co-host of the More Than Masala Podcast as well as the chef owner of Aatma Restaurant & The Farmers Dinner. He is also the author of 4 best selling cookbooks

Despite encouragement I've always avoided doing things i love as a job because i don't want to spoil them. I've also held back in my career because i want to work in a way that I'm happy. I don't regret this one bit. I think you are finding that out and i understand you. You made a good call, You were about to turn a dream into work. In the UK people work to live not live to work. India can wait. Incidentally I was wondering about the output of your channel slowing down.

I agree with you, Kieth. Go to India for you and not for anyone else. Bring a cell phone with a camera and record what you want when you want! You will do it eventually on your own terms. You should not have any pressure. I know I will visit India, myself one day because it is my ultimate dream. In the meantime, I will slowly learn Hindi and keep going to Indian festivals and keep cooking Indian food (I started cooking Indian food from UA-cam over a year ago and now it is ALL I cook!) I even got my nose pierced because I love how it looks on the Indian women. There is so much beauty, color and flavor in the Indian culture, I just want to dive in head first! Sure, I stick out like a sore thumb, but I don’t care. It’s like all of the spices and hot pepper. The more you have, the more you crave!
