I just did my own knotless braids and they’re kind of loose at the root , it’s hard for me to grip my hair in the front because I don’t know how to position my hands correctly 😭 but they look GUDT I’ve gotten so many compliments and questions as to “who did you hair” like girl myself 🙈🙈

Thank you for listening cause I remember asking for a gripping video!!! I really appreciate you telling us to pinch the root. I love knotless but they do get frizzy quick. I wasn’t really gripping the roots correctly. I was scared it would hurt me, but seeing it this way taught me and it’s pain free. I can’t wait to redo my front!
I have not even attempted knotless before (kind of nervous/scared to even think about how the back would look on myself) but yours have come such a long way from when you were first doing them to now. Can you do a basic braiding video of how to position your hands?!!! I see many different youtubers have different methods. It's not gripping just free braiding in general.

This is so helpful. I just really suck at finger placement. I braid using my entire fingers to grip instead of using the tips of my fingers🙁

I have 2and 3c curls and I wanted to get box braids but here's the thing im white and when I asked my mom she said "no!!!your white you aren't black😡" I yelled at her and told her that she was being racist.( She said things that I can't comment on )the thing I don't get is that she had them all the time when she was a kid. What is your opinion on white people getting box braids if it was a protective style for them. Also love your channel!!!

I'm doing my hair next week and that's what my stylist says she usually uses but i'm not sure if that's the best product in terms of longevity.
My hair is a mixture of 3C, 4A and 4B.
The woman at the shop brauded my roots skinnier than the braids its my first day but im scared my hair is going to be hanging on a thread....i didnt notice till the end

I was doing the second method you showed and it came out loose😩I’m doing it on myself. I think it’s because I can’t see cause it’s only the back that’s loose not the front

Mines look bulky when I twist three time before I add the braiding hair
the pieces you add in need to be smaller. it needs to match the amount of hair the client has.
