Correction: There was also a President from Visayas he was Carlos P. Garcia of Talibon, Bohol, he was then a Vice President of Pres. Ramon Magsaysay. Since Pres. Magsaysay was dead in the plane crash in 1956, Carlos P. Garcia took the place as President of the Philippines for only 2 years.

Segio Oemena, Sr. was the Vice President of Manuel L. Quezon under commonwealt, since Pres. Quezon death in in NY, Osmena took the place as Phil. President for only 2 years.
