@@cedec0 I tried getting hit and ran out of patience so I went with the long jump dash route. Later segment has a part that you do have to do long jump dashes (or take 5 points of damage and sent back to the platforming segment before it) so it's a good practice to do now I think
No offense taken lol. I was actually talking with a friend of mine stuck on the same spot when we were both trying the "getting hit" method and had a momentary "is this what youngsters (am 35) call skill issue" lol

You can also double jump from below and get hit by raptures. This will knock you up enough to reach platform.
