Since then, whichever party has been in power is the servant of that oligarchy. We currently reside in a welfare/warfare state, not a democracy or republic. The government serves the oligarchy and vice versa. To cast a vote for either major party is in reality to cast a vote for the "uniparty." Sad, but true.
